Which model this is

This page covers the Redragon HROTHGAR GM32 32-inch 180 Hz curved gaming monitor, sold via Redragon’s US store; the printed user manual carries model code GMQ3225RVC. Do not confuse it with other Redragon monitor models. The manufacturer product page names it “HROTHGAR GM32 32” 180Hz Curve Gaming Monitor".

Picture and motion

The manufacturer quotes 300 cd/m² typical brightness, 3500:1 dynamic / 1000:1 typical contrast, and 85% color gamut without naming the color space or providing measured accuracy. Response time is stated two ways on the same page: 1.76 ms and “1 ms (MPRT)”, with no stated measurement method. No RTINGS, Wirecutter, Tom’s Guide, CNET, PCMag, or other major-outlet review of this exact model was found in the sources checked.

Ergonomics and setup

The manual lists a 31.5-inch panel, 19 V 3.42 A power, ≤65 W normal and ≤0.5 W standby, a headphone output, and VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting. Included items per the manual packing list: monitor with base, power cord, AC adapter, signal cable, user manual, and warranty card; the MacSources reviewer also received a DisplayPort cable and Redragon stickers. The stand offers tilt adjustment per a retailer offer; height, swivel and pivot adjustment are not documented on the pages read. The reviewer used a VESA arm instead of the included stand. Manual safety guidance: unplug before cleaning, use an LCD-specific cleaner, keep vents clear, and do not self-repair due to high voltage.

Redragon’s US store showed $259.00 sale against a $299.99 regular price, with an advertised 15% code “GHOST15”; the store notes US-only shipping. Woot sold units at $229.99 with a 90-day Woot warranty. MacSources listed $299.99 in April 2025. Monitors carry a 1-year warranty for functional defects only, with physical damage excluded; other Redragon products carry 2 years and open-box items 6 months. The product and download pages display a generic “2-Year Limited Warranty” banner that conflicts with the dedicated warranty page; use 1 year for monitors. A third-party aggregator lists a $259 reference price. Maintenance, repairability and parts availability are not documented. Support: support@redragonshop.com.

Is it worth it?

At $229.99 (Woot) to $259 (manufacturer sale), the GM32 offers a 32-inch 1000R QHD panel at 180 Hz with FreeSync/G-Sync and HDR400 from the manufacturer’s store; value depends on unverified claims since no independent instrumented test was found. At the $299.99 regular price, comparison with better-tested budget monitors is warranted. Whether paying the $299.99 regular list is justified cannot be determined from available evidence.
