Problems, parts and running costs

Summary

A budget cordless stick vacuum with 40 kPa max suction, an LED display and an anti-tangle brush, aimed at small homes and apartments. Check the runtime before you buy: the 47-minute figure is the low-mode number, and hands-on use puts high mode at roughly 15–20 minutes.

Strengths

  • Strong suction for the money, and effective on pet hair in low and medium settings.
  • Light at 6.28 lbs, and the swivel brush reaches under furniture and onto stairs.
  • The V-shaped anti-tangle brush cuts down on hair wrapping around the brush roll.
  • LED display and the brush head light make dust and missed particles easier to see.
  • Wall-mount storage with easy charging by wall mount or DC barrel plug.
  • Owners repeatedly call it good value against costlier brands.

Weaknesses

  • High-mode runtime is about 15–20 minutes, not the 47 minutes on the box.
  • VEVOR sells no replacement parts or separate batteries, so filters and packs are hard to source.
  • Plastic connections and snap-on parts feel fragile, and some owners report creaks after months of use.
  • Suction drops as the filters clog, and both filters need frequent washing.
  • The dust cup fills quickly when you are picking up pet hair and debris.
  • Minor hardware slips are reported, including a missing O-ring on the dust cup cover and undersized wall-mount screws.

Suction, modes and what 40 kPa means

The 40 kPa number is a manufacturer maximum in max mode. VEVOR’s own spec table gives the range as 20 to 40 kPa, and the mode list on the same page reads 40 / 30 / 15 kPa, so treat 40 kPa as the top of the range rather than a constant output. One feature heading on the product page still says “24KPA Suction”; that copy is inconsistent with the mode values.

In practice the vacuum works well on low and medium settings for light cleaning and pet hair. A hands-on reviewer found suction and the anti-tangle brush doing their job in those modes, and owners name suction strength as the first thing they like. The same reviewer notes that suction does not always hold up under heavy load. Nobody has published an instrumented test for this model, so treat the kPa figures as a manufacturer’s claim rather than a measured result.

Runtime, charging and the battery

The 47-minute runtime is explicitly the low-mode figure, and VEVOR does not publish a separate high-mode number on the spec table. Hands-on use puts high mode at about 15–20 minutes, and several owners say drain feels faster than expected over repeated sessions. Five hours of charging for that runtime is the other half of the deal.

The battery is detachable and replaceable in principle, but VEVOR states that no larger battery and no spare packs are sold separately, so in practice there is nothing to swap in. Owners who asked about buying extra batteries report that the support chatbot gave an unhelpful automated answer.

Pet hair, filters and upkeep

This is where the machine earns its keep if you have pets. The V-shaped anti-tangle brush reduces the hair wrapping that ruins traditional brush rolls, and owners single it out as a genuine advantage.

The cost is filter maintenance. Filtration is a stainless steel mesh pre-filter plus a washable HEPA filter, and both need regular cleaning, especially after pet hair, or suction suffers. The 1 L dust cup also fills quickly on hair and debris. Error code E5 means the floor brush is blocked or tangled and needs clearing.

Parts, warranty and support

VEVOR’s own answer on the product page says the company does not sell parts individually, which leaves filters, batteries and other components hard to replace outside the warranty. If a part fails within the 12-month warranty, VEVOR sends a replacement free of charge. Some site footers claim a longer warranty, but the dedicated warranty page and the model manual both say one year.

One owner reports a missing O-ring on the dust cup cover that cost significant suction after about a month, and another says the supplied wall-mount screws are too small for the job. Those are individual reports, not a pattern, but they are the kind of small part you cannot order separately.

Is it worth it?

VEVOR’s own store lists the unit at $96.90 (2026-11-01). At that level you get a feature set that lines up with cordless sticks in the sub-$100 bracket: 40 kPa max suction, three modes, an LED display, an anti-tangle brush and a 47-minute low-mode runtime.

The catch is what you give up. No independent instrumented test from the major appliance outlets exists for this model, and Vacuum Wars’ cordless list under $200 does not include it, so there is no measured performance data to weigh against the spec sheet. The Vevor lacks the test record and build quality of the budget models that have been measured.

For a small home or apartment where you mostly vacuum hard floors and light carpet and do a quick pass for pet hair, it is a reasonable buy. If you want it as a primary vacuum for large areas, expect to top up the battery often, wash filters often, and accept that a broken part may end the machine’s life.

Which model this is

This page covers the 40 kPa version, item model number F04, VEVOR SKU GSXCQWXK250WHI0QN001V1. VEVOR also sells a 25 kPa sibling under SKU GSXCQWXK150WJLWRQ001V1, and the two use the same photography and the same page family, so check the SKU before you buy. F04 is a short, generic VEVOR code, so matching on the SKU is safer than matching on the model number alone.
