Battery life and charging

Owner reports show shorter runtime than the 45-minute product-page claim. Several owners report 10–20 minutes of actual use on high suction, and charging can take almost all day despite the 3–4 hour claim. The 2200 mAh battery is detachable, but VEVOR does not sell official replacements, so buyers must look for third-party options.

Parts and running costs

The main ongoing cost is replacement filters, which VEVOR does not sell directly. Some owners report difficulty getting support for issues like a damaged wall bracket or charging problems. No official warranty period is listed on the product page or manual.

At $135.90, the VEVOR A40 is a reasonable value for light-to-medium cleaning, especially if you can find discounts or coupons. For heavy-duty or frequent use, the lack of official battery and filter support, limited independent testing and mixed durability reports make it a riskier choice.
