Summary
The UREVO Strol 2E is a folding under-desk walking pad: drop the handle to walk at up to 4 mph while you work, raise it to jog at up to 6.2 mph. Measure your stride first, because the 40.2-inch belt is short for tall users and anyone who wants to run.
Strengths
- Folds to 4.6 in and rolls under a bed or sofa on front wheels.
- Quiet enough for a shared office: about 30 dB walking and about 60 dB at top speed by phone-meter measurement.
- Setup is quick, and the app needs no subscription.
- Comfortable, grippy belt that reviewers said is easy on knees and ankles.
- The safety handle is rare in this class and helps at higher speeds.
- Stable at top speed once the handlebars are tightened.
Weaknesses
- The 40.2-inch belt is over seven inches shorter than some rivals, so tall users and joggers run out of room at 6.2 mph.
- UREVO says it is not intended as a high-speed or long-distance running treadmill.
- Owner reports include a first-use motor failure with a burning smell and error E02.
- Belt maintenance is a real task: post-oiling squeak and belt-centering trouble appear on UREVO’s own review wall.
- Handlebar shake and a device-holder bounce at speed unless everything is tightened.
- Step counts can be imprecise.

Full research notes and sources
Two modes and speed
With the handle folded down the pad walks at 0.6–4 mph, the under-desk mode. Raise the handle and it runs to 6.2 mph. UREVO’s own FAQ says the Strol 2E “is not intended as a high-speed or long-distance running treadmill”. Live Science found the belt glided smoothly through speed changes, and T3 found it stable at top speed once the handlebars were tightened. T3 also noted a pause function that keeps your steps, distance and time if you slow rather than stop.
The running belt and noise
The belt is 40.2 × 15 in, more than seven inches shorter than some rivals’ 47- to 47.6-inch decks. A six-foot walker gets roughly 9.2 in of margin at the common 0.43×-height stride rule, and that margin has to absorb any drift. T3’s 5 ft 5 reviewer’s foot touched the rear of the belt at times, and a 5'8" owner called the pad about two inches too short. A specialist comparison site ranks the Strol 2E the lightest, flattest-folding and fastest pad it tracks, and the only one with a safety handle.
UREVO publishes no decibel figure. Live Science measured about 30 dB walking and about 60 dB at top speed with a phone sound-meter app; T3 called it “not the quietest under-desk treadmill” and recommended it for home rather than an open office, while Runner’s World UK used it in an open-plan office and found it quiet enough.
App and controls
The app is basic for a machine with “Smart” in the name: speed control, tracking, two 30-minute guided workouts and a leaderboard, with no subscription. T3 adds two preset programmes, a calorie leaderboard and Zwift/Kinomap compatibility, which the UK model also supports. You can drive the pad from the magnetic remote, the handrail console or the phone. The magnetic safety clip that stops the belt drew praise from T3.
Maintenance and running costs
Lubrication is the recurring task. UREVO advises silicone lubricant every 3 months or 30–50 hours, small quarter-turn belt adjustments, and prompt attention to a slipping or shaking belt because ignoring it risks burning out the motor. The pad ships with two small pots of oil and tools for belt adjustment. Running costs are otherwise electricity, since the app needs no subscription.
Reliability and owner reports
No long-term reliability data exists. Testers ran the pad for two and three weeks without damage, and a spec-only site says two-year durability is unknown. Owner reports are mixed. A two-month owner wrote that it “works well so far”, and one called it worth the $116 for 40 minutes of walking a day. Against that, one owner’s first use ended after 0.11 km in 2 minutes with a jerking belt, a burning smell and error E02. UREVO’s own review wall carries complaints of squeak that started after oiling, belt-centering trouble and a belt damaged on arrival. A separate Urevo thread, model not confirmed, described loud noise and a belt that was hard to center. Treat these as individual reports, not a failure rate.
Is it worth it?
At $200 or less the 2-in-1 handle, 47.2 lb weight and 4.6 in folded height make it strong value for under-desk walking and light jogging. Between $201 and $280 it is fair, and above $280 the short belt is hard to justify. The value is in the folding, the light weight and the safety handle, not in the app, which is basic. T3 tested a $279.99 unit in 2024 and still gave it a recommendation, but prices have fallen since: Pad & Pace listed $189.99 in October 2026, matching UREVO’s US checkout.
