Summary
The ULTIMEA Poseidon M60 is a compact 5.1 soundbar system on a single 800 mm bar with five 2.25 in drivers and a 5.25 in wired subwoofer, rated 300 W peak with Dolby Atmos decoding, Bluetooth 5.4 and HDMI eARC. Before you buy, confirm whether the US listing ships refurbished and that the warranty matches a new purchase.
Strengths
- Free on-device 5.1 decoding with Dolby Atmos support, BassMX and VoiceMX on a single 800 mm bar.
- Clear ownership terms: 30-day returns with ULTIMEA covering shipping on quality issues, 1-year US warranty on new units.
- One owner who moved up to the Skywave F40 and X70 called the M60 a solid first soundbar.
Weaknesses
- No independent instrumented test exists for the exact M60, so performance claims rest on the manufacturer spec sheet.
- Dolby Atmos is claimed, but no up-firing drivers are listed among the five 2.25 in bar drivers.
- No M60-specific spare parts, service manuals or repair guidance were found.
- The unit ships refurbished in the US, so warranty terms should be confirmed at checkout.

Sound and Atmos
Treat the triple-DSP, BassMX and VoiceMX claims as stated, not measured. The Atmos caveat matters: the bar lists five 2.25 in drivers and no up-firing drivers, so height is virtual rather than a dedicated upward-firing array.
Connectivity and app control
Connections match the spec sheet: HDMI eARC, optical and USB on the bar, Bluetooth 5.4, an IR remote with Movie, Music, Voice, Sport, Game and Night modes, and the Ultimea app with CEC. Supported OS versions and codec support for the app are not stated.
Ownership: repairs, returns and running costs
Running costs are essentially zero: the app is free, wall-mount hardware is included, and there are no filters, pods or consumables. Refurbished US units carry a return window of 30 calendar days through ULTIMEA’s official channels, with return shipping covered when the reason is a product-quality issue; new purchases carry a 1-year US warranty against material or manufacturing defects. No M60-specific spare parts or service manuals were found, and the retrieved manual covers remote-control functions only.
Is it worth it?
At $139.99 refurbished, with a 30-day quality return and a 1-year US warranty on new units, the M60 is a specs-led budget 5.1 option where the buyer trades measured performance for size and features. If you need verified measurements, genuine height channels or long-term repairability, compare alternatives; if you want a compact Dolby Atmos bar and can live with manufacturer claims, the return policy softens the risk.
