Summary

No lab has measured this exact model, so treat the sound, call quality and battery totals as seller claims rather than results.

Strengths

  • Soft over-ear hooks and three tip sizes keep the buds seated during runs and workouts.
  • Up to 54 hours total with the case, plus a 10-minute quick charge for about 2 hours.
  • Pairing is automatic when the buds leave the case, and single-bud use works.
  • Touch controls handle play, tracks, volume and calls, with Google Assistant and Siri.
  • No app or subscription is required.

Weaknesses

  • Six hours per charge is modest for a hooked sport bud and below the category average SoundGuys tracks.
  • The 54-hour total rests on optimistic arithmetic for a 400 mAh case; similar 50-hour pairs carry 500–600 mAh.
  • No lab has measured the exact i27, so sound, mic quality and battery life are unverified.
  • “Noise cancelling” covers the call microphone only; there is no listening ANC.
  • No codec is named anywhere, and there is no multipoint pairing.
  • The sealed in-ear fit blocks traffic noise, so the listing’s cycling advice is poor.

Battery life and charging

The 6-hour single-charge figure is rated listening time, not measured endurance; 54 hours assumes roughly eight trips back to the case. A 400 mAh case is small for that total — pairs near 50 hours usually carry 500–600 mAh — so treat 54 hours as a ceiling, not a daily plan. Charging runs over USB-C: about 90 minutes for the buds, about 1.5 hours for the case, and a 10-minute top-up returns about 2 hours. Qi wireless charging is unconfirmed, because the listing contradicts itself on the case.

Calls, codecs and latency

TRAUSI markets a noise-cancelling call microphone, and SoundGuys lists two mics. That is ENC for voice, not active noise cancellation for the listener, and one review says the mic struggles in very noisy places. No codec is named, so expect SBC and nothing more until TRAUSI says otherwise. SoundGuys’ catalog lists 100 ms latency, but there is no measured latency test, so the listing’s low-latency claim is unverified.

Fit and water resistance

Each earbud is about 7 g with soft over-ear hooks and three silicone tip sizes, and the pair sits in a 100 g case. Because the tips seal the ear canal, you hear less of what is around you — the specialist review warns against the listing’s cycling suggestion for road use.

TrueGether lists a new black pair at $9.98 (TrueGether, October 2026), with returns not accepted. Newegg lists a blue pair at $45.99 (Newegg, October 2026) with free 30-day returns. At the $9.98 price, replacing the pair every two years averages about $4.99 a year. Above $25 the $29.99 JLab GO Sport+ is the safer buy: it has independent testing, a published two-year warranty and a 30-day return window. There is no app, subscription or filter to buy; charging is the only running cost.

Which model this is

This page covers the TRAUSI i27, a sealed in-ear sport earbud with soft over-ear hooks, sold in black and blue. The US listing is ASIN B0H8Y9LL1G. A sibling i27F with an LED display case and near-identical specs exists, and TRAUSI also sells open-ear and touchscreen-case lines; those are different products. Other i27 listings use different identifiers, so check the model number before buying.
