Tastyle K310IC: problems, parts and running costs

Checked: 2026-10-19

Summary

The K310IC is a narrow, corded single-serve brewer for K-Cup-style pods or loose grounds, with separate hot-brew and over-ice settings, but it has no detachable reservoir, so you fill it for every cup. A March 2025 owner report describes residual coffee leaking after a brew, and a May 2025 report describes a descaling light that would not clear before the brewer steamed and produced under half a cup. Running costs are low: there is no subscription, and at the rated 800 W a three-minute cup works out to about $2.92 a year at one cup a day.

Common problems and fixes

Parts and consumables

No Tastyle K310IC factory-published annual replacement schedule or US spare-parts catalog was found.

Yearly running cost

There is no mandatory subscription: the brewer runs from physical buttons, so recurring app or cartridge costs are $0 a year. Using the rated 800 W for an assumed three-minute cup gives 0.04 kWh per cup; at an assumed $0.20 per kWh that is $0.008 a cup, or $2.92 a year at one cup a day. By volume, one cup a day at 10 g of grounds is about 3.65 kg of coffee a year. Descaling is a consumable whose frequency depends on water hardness and the unit’s booklet.

When it is a good buy

Tastyle’s own page listed the Classic Black K310IC at $49.99 (mytastyle.com, October 2026). A Walmart marketplace listing for the Classic Black 2.0 C95 showed a $53.99 headline marked down from $59.99, while another block on the same page showed $70.18 and out of stock, so confirm the seller and stock. An eBay seller listed a new K310IC at $29.99 in June 2026, and a separate used listing showed $21.67; those are individual sellers, not an authorized retailer with a warranty. For comparison, a Walmart first-party Keurig K-Express Essentials Gen 2 was $49.47 with a 30 oz removable tank and no over-ice mode, and the Chefman InstaCoffee was $36.00 but out of stock.
