Summary
TAGRY’s H08 is a budget over-ear headphone with hybrid noise cancellation, built around a 100-hour battery claim that hands-on testing in 2025 found roughly real.
Strengths
- Five minutes of charging returns 10 hours of playtime.
- Calls came through clearly on both ends, per one hands-on review.
- Protein-leather ear cups and a foldable design with a travel pouch suit travel and the office.
- Physical buttons control power, volume, tracks, ANC and calls without needing an app.
- A 3.5mm input keeps the music playing when the battery is empty.
Weaknesses
- No app, no EQ and no transparency mode mean the bass-heavy tuning cannot be adjusted.
- ANC cuts most indoor noise but not all, and is less useful outdoors; the 95% figure is an unverified marketing claim.
- The 0.54 lb weight spec conflicts with a hands-on measurement of about 1.1 lbs and a 160 g listicle figure.
- No instrumented lab test, no exact-model owner thread and no H08 manual exist, so long-term durability is unknown.
- TAGRY’s lifetime warranty covers only units bought from TAGRY’s own store or its Amazon store, so third-party sellers may leave you uncovered.

Battery life and charging
The 100-hour claim is the H08’s reason to exist, and the hands-on evidence roughly supports it. A budget-headphone listicle claims a month of daily 3-hour sessions before a recharge.
No instrumented lab test of this model exists, so every battery number here is a hands-on estimate rather than a measured result.
Sound and noise cancellation
Sound is the weak point, and reviewers split on how weak. The Gadgeteer’s April 2025 review called the sound quite underwhelming, with little separation between the low, mid and high frequencies, noted distortion at raised volume, and named the H08 the least favorite of the sub-$100 headphones tested. A second hands-on review from March 2025 found the sound decent and slightly bass-forward, with no tinny quality at max volume. A 2026 travel roundup liked the warm sound and bass that does not muddy details. With no app and no EQ, that tuning is fixed — you cannot dial the bass back.
ANC is moderate. The up-to-95% reduction figure in the marketing copy comes with no published measurement standard and no independent verification, so read it as a claim, not a number.
Warranty and support
TAGRY’s official store offers a lifetime warranty on new products bought from its own website or its Amazon store in the US and Canada, covering defects in materials and workmanship, with quality claims settled by a replacement unit or a full refund. The same page adds a 90-day money-back guarantee for any reason on undamaged products with original packaging, and lists the H08 among covered products. Support answers within 24 hours, 8AM to 8PM ET. The catch: coverage starts only at TAGRY’s own channels, so a unit bought elsewhere may not be covered.
Brand-level support signals exist, but not for this model. In an r/Earbuds thread about TAGRY earbuds rather than these headphones, one user reported a failed X88 replaced after four email responses to support and wrote that next time they would pay more for something more reliable. No H08-specific repairability or parts information exists.
Is it worth it?
At about $50 — the price The Gadgeteer listed in April 2025 — the H08 is a defensible budget pick for travel and office use, where battery endurance matters most and sound quality comes second. Between $50 and $80 it remains a reasonable option. Above $100 the missing app and EQ, the unverified ANC claims and the thin independent testing make established budget brands easier to buy instead. TAGRY’s own site lists the H08 at $149.99, which is not competitive.
Which model this is
This page covers the TAGRY H08 over-ear wireless headphone in black; TAGRY also sells the same model in white and yellow. Do not confuse it with the TAGRY A18, a newer model with 120 hours of claimed playtime and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Amazon listing for the black variant is ASIN B0HJ7ZLR8M.
