Summary
A cordless stick vacuum with a removable battery and sealed HEPA filtration, suited to short daily runs on hard floors and low-pile rugs with pet hair. Check the runtime you actually need: the 40-minute figure is a handheld low-power best case, not powered-head cleaning on carpet.
Strengths
- Good hard-floor and pet-hair pickup on the shared platform: an independent test scored the related IZ361H 8.0/10 for both.
- Sealed HEPA filtration contains fine particles when filters and seals are intact.
- PowerFins roller removes pet hair without conventional bristle wrap.
- Detachable handheld body reaches furniture, stairs and car upholstery.
- Removable battery with a $86.99 genuine spare (XSBT620) instead of scrapping the vacuum.
- Short charge time: 3 hours per Shark, 169 minutes measured on the related unit.
Weaknesses
- The 40-minute runtime is a handheld low-power best case; expect far less on carpet or Boost (14 minutes measured on the related unit).
- The PowerFins roller is not removable, so wrapped hair and grit are harder to clear.
- The full assembly is top-heavy and will not stand on its own.
- No onboard tool storage and no charging dock.
- Granular debris such as cat litter can be kicked backward on hard floors.
- The PowerFins roller cannot be switched off independently; there is no suction-only head.

Runtime and charging
The 40-minute maximum applies to the detachable hand vacuum in standard mode, not to powered-head cleaning on carpet. An independent test of the related IZ361H, which uses the same nominal 1900 mAh battery, measured about 14 minutes minimum and about 41 minutes maximum, with a 169-minute charge. Shark acknowledges that lithium capacity declines with age. If runtime collapses, first check a fully charged, cool battery, clean filters and airways, and cut Boost use before buying an XSBT620. A second battery extends runtime but doubles battery hardware.
Filtration, cleaning and upkeep
The pre-motor foam and felt filters rinse with water at least monthly and dry at least 24 hours; the HEPA post-motor filter rinses at least annually and dries at least 24 hours. Replace a filter only if it is torn, damaged or no longer cleaning well. The Anti-Allergen Complete Seal helps contain fine particles, but emptying the bagless cup can still stir dust. Do not wash the motor or battery, and do not use the vacuum on wet surfaces or for water, flammable substances, large amounts of drywall dust, fireplace ash or embers, sharp or toxic material.
Parts and running costs
No bags or disposable cartridges are required, and the washable filters make the mandatory recurring cost $0 per year. Replacing one genuine pre-motor kit ($16.99) and one genuine HEPA filter ($20.99) in the same year would cost $37.98 before tax and shipping, but yearly replacement is not required by the care instructions. Shark charges up to $10 shipping on individual orders under $99.
The genuine removable battery XSBT620 costs $86.99 direct from Shark, with a two-year part warranty; an “OEM” example at ShopJimmy was $34.99, so confirm provenance and condition. The charging cable XBCHGX140 is $22.99. The crevice tool 619FJ140 is $10.99 from Shark or $19.99 at ShopJimmy. The Pet Multi-Tool and anti-allergen brush are included; an accessory Anti-Allergen Dusting Brush 626FJ140 is $33.99 and an optional Mini Motorized Brush 630FJ140 is $99.99, not included as standard. No verified standalone SKUs or prices for the floorhead, dust cup or wand were established.
For power, the battery nominally stores 21.6 V × 1.9 Ah = 41.04 Wh. Recharging one empty pack once a week for 52 weeks stores 2.13 kWh per year, or $0.43 at an assumed $0.20 per kWh; daily full charges store about 14.98 kWh per year. These are stored-energy scenarios, not measured wall bills, and actual draw is higher due to losses.
Day-to-day use
The vacuum will not stand fully assembled; detach the motor body and park it on the lower wand hook. Keep the tools in a drawer or accessory bag, since there is no onboard organizer. Clearing the non-removable brushroll means undoing the nozzle cover locks on the related unit. For weak suction or a thermal shutoff, remove the battery, empty the cup, rinse and fully dry the filters, and clear the floor nozzle, wand and motor intake before assuming a fault. The transparent dust cup is vulnerable to impacts. One owner who bought the vacuum in 2025 reported in August 2026 that the PowerFins head pushed cat litter backward on hardwood, though the same owner otherwise liked the cordless convenience for a small house.
Is it worth it?
Observed asking prices for the IZ362H run from $199.99 to $349.99, with established pages clustered around $275 to $350. SharkNinja displays $349.99 with a back-in-stock notice, so treat that as a published manufacturer price rather than proof of immediate availability. A Best Buy Marketplace listing showed $274.99 sold and shipped by Esquared Trading, and a Walmart Marketplace offer showed about $288.22 from Esquared Shop; both are marketplace sellers, so check authorized-reseller status and return terms before relying on Shark’s warranty. A PzDeals listing at $199.99 is a low-confidence advertised offer with unverified authorization and condition.
Editorial thresholds: $150 or less new from an authorized dealer is excellent value; $151 to $199 is worthwhile if new, complete and fully warrantied; $200 to $249 is acceptable mainly for a buyer who specifically wants the removable battery and HEPA combination; above $250, compare newer alternatives; above $300 is hard to justify unless a specific repair, return or availability requirement changes the equation.
Alternatives: the Shark PowerPro Flex Reveal IZ382H is $199.99 direct from Shark with FloorDetect automatic floor recognition, a reveal light, a flexible wand and up to 50 minutes of claimed runtime; the Levoit LVAC-200 is $139.94 direct with a detachable battery, a 0.75 L maximum dustbin, an anti-tangle brush and 30 minutes of claimed head-on Eco runtime; the Shark PowerDetect Cordless IP1251 is $279.99 on sale with automatic dirt, floor, edge and direction detection and up to 70 minutes of claimed runtime. No validated long-term price record was established, and warranty coverage depends on buying from an authorized retailer.
