Summary
A LiDAR robot vacuum-mop built around an All-in-One Clean Station that empties the dustbin, then steam-sanitizes, hot-air dries, refills and drains the mop side. Check your household before you buy: edges and corners get no dedicated cleaning, and hair longer than 7 inches tangles in the roller.
Strengths
- The station steam-sanitizes mop pads — the first auto-dock Vacuum Wars has tested with that feature.
- Debris pickup on hard floors and carpets was at or better than category average in independent testing.
- Obstacle avoidance scored a perfect 12, tied for first; it detects objects too low or light for traditional sensors.
- Battery life is above average: 180 minutes official on low power against a 145-minute average.
- LiDAR mapped a test floor plan in about 5 minutes with perfect first-run coverage.
- The app goes deep: virtual barriers, multi-level mapping, mopping water levels, docking frequency, plus camera features such as video calls and pet location.
Weaknesses
- No extending side brush or mop pads, so edges and corners get no dedicated cleaning.
- The station has no dirty-water sensor — you are the sensor.
- Hair tangles in the roller; anything longer than 7 inches needs frequent attention.
- Mopping coverage is overly thorough, which lengthens clean times on large floor plans.
- The price is high, though slightly below its two main competitors.

The station and mop care
The All-in-One Clean Station empties the robot’s dustbin into a disposable bag, washes the two mop pads with hot water, sanitizes them with steam, dries them with hot air, refills the onboard mop tank and collects dirty water. The pads attach magnetically, so you can run the robot pad-free over carpet and dock to attach them for hard floors. A removable tray in the station is there for cleaning. Running costs are dust bags for the station, water for mop washing, and replacement mop pads; no prices for any of these were captured. AI stain recognition during mopping is a beta, opt-in feature. The robot prompts you to calibrate its sensors before use — unique among the robots Vacuum Wars has tested.
Navigation and obstacle avoidance
LiDAR does the mapping, with AI object recognition from a front camera and 3D sensors on top. The test floor plan was mapped in about 5 minutes with perfect first-run coverage that Vacuum Wars called “perhaps even a bit too thorough”. Obstacle avoidance earned a perfect score — 12 against a 9 average, tied for first — picking up objects too low or light for traditional sensors.
Mopping, edges and hair
Vacuum Wars removed a dried coffee stain in a single pass. Airflow, crevice and deep-carpet results were closer to average. Hair over 7 inches wraps around the roller and needs frequent maintenance, and with no extending side brush or mop pads there is no dedicated hardware for edges and corners.
Is it worth it?
Vacuum Wars ranked it 13th out of more than 100 robot vacuums tested. The strongest case is a cluttered home that wants top-shelf obstacle avoidance and a hands-off mop-pad wash, steam and dry cycle; the weakest case is a long-hair household, a large home, or an edge-heavy floor plan. At a discount to its main competitors it is easier to recommend; at full price, the missing edge-cleaning hardware and dirty-water sensor are harder to justify. The review page carries a price-comparison chart if you want to see where it sits.
Which model this is
This page covers the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI, model VR7MD97714G/AA, announced at CES 2024 as Samsung’s first mopping robot with a full mop-pad management system. The Amazon listing is ASIN B0DLL1R2R5. Do not confuse it with the later Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, announced in late 2025, or the non-mop Jet Bot AI+.
