Sound and setup
SpaceFit Sound Pro room calibration works on non-Samsung TVs in Tom’s Guide’s testing.
Q-Symphony uses the TV speakers as additional center channels instead of muting them, but only on a compatible Samsung TV. Wireless listening without an HDMI cable also requires a compatible Samsung TV. The two rear satellites are not interchangeable: each is labeled left or right because each carries one side channel.
Value and pricing
MSRP is $1,999.99. PCMag’s price comparison (2026-10-14) showed $1,224.95, $1,597.99, $1,497.99, $1,999.99 and $1,499.99 across sellers. Woot listed it at $1,694.99 with coupon code SSG650 for $650 off, on a 90-day Woot warranty. Below $1,500 it is strong value for the 11.1.4 layout, 300 W subwoofer, HDMI 2.1 passthrough and app control; between $1,500 and $1,800 it competes with the JBL Bar 1300X MK2 ($1,799); above $1,800 it is justified mainly for buyers committed to the Samsung TV ecosystem or who find it on sale. PCMag notes a comparable Sonos setup costs about $1,000 more.
Risks and ownership
Woot forum members warn that Samsung firmware updates have bricked prior flagship soundbars and that Samsung’s repair or replacement response should be checked before buying. Units sold as an “International Model” (Canada region, ZC code) may not receive Samsung US warranty service. Maintenance is firmware updates and SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration through the SmartThings or Samsung Sound apps. No user-serviceable parts or spare-part catalog for this model was found on the pages read. Samsung Care+ is available for TVs and audio per Samsung’s support site. Ownership adds power outlets for each component and optional stands or mounts for the rear satellites, which are not included.
