Those numbers cannot describe a 20 × 14 in board: the brand lists 2.27 lb for a 15 × 10 × 0.6 in board and 7.96 lb for a four-board set whose largest member is 18 × 12 × 0.75 in. The 0.75 in thickness for the 20 × 14 member comes from the brand’s set-of-five spec line. No consistent shipping weight is published for the single board, so do not trust one.

Care, warping and repair

The XXL page says hand wash with warm water and mild soap and stops there. The brand’s 15 × 10 page adds towel dry immediately and avoid soaking or the dishwasher, and its 12 × 8 page says to apply mineral oil occasionally. Community threads on bamboo and wood boards describe the same mechanism: water swells the material, drying shrinks it, and uneven moisture produces warp or cracks. One owner whose new board split after first use was told it was a glue failure and to contact the seller. Dry the board on edge and keep it out of the dishwasher.
