Redragon K768 PRO: problems, parts and running costs

Checked: 2026-10-19

Summary

The K768 PRO (sold by Redragon as the EISA K768) is a 100-key compact-full-size tri-mode wireless gasket keyboard with an 8000mAh battery, hot-swap sockets and a numpad, listed at $64.99 direct from Redragon’s US store. Most owners are happy with the feature set for the price, but the board launched only weeks before this check, so long-term reliability is unproven and early reports cover dead keys, a confusing knob and dim indicator lights. It is a value pick for a work-and-play wireless board with a numpad, not for measured latency or open firmware.

Common problems and fixes

Parts and consumables

Yearly running cost

There is no mandatory subscription and no consumable: the eight spare switches and the puller are in the box, and the board charges over USB-C. Electricity is negligible at PC-peripheral draw, and the 8000mAh capacity cannot be turned into a yearly cost without pack voltage and local electricity prices. Optional spend is limited to aftermarket switches or keycaps. The mandatory yearly cost is $0, with optional mods on top. [1][4]
