Summary
A flat, handrail-free walking pad for under-desk use, with a 2.25 HP motor, a 265 lb capacity and a 0.5–4 mph speed range. Check the deck length before you buy: at about four feet it sits at the stride limit for a 5'6" walker, and taller users will want a longer belt.
Strengths
- Setup is effectively nil: unbox, insert the remote battery, plug in.
- Transport wheels on one end make it easy to move in a small apartment.
- It stores under a bed when not in use.
- A full-year owner still uses it daily for standing meetings and evening walks.
- Twelve preset programs and a wireless remote cover basic sessions without an app.
- Redliro’s one-year limited warranty covers purchases from authorized retailers.
Weaknesses
- The belt drifts about half an inch to the right after a month of steady use, and the drift returns after most walks.
- It is louder than expected: usable during video or TV, too loud for speaking meetings.
- The roughly four-foot deck is at the limit for a 5'6" walker, and taller users will be cramped.
- There is no handrail, and stepping off a moving pad triggered vertigo for the reviewer.
- No instrumented lab test of this exact model exists, so its durability is unverified.

Which model this is
This page covers the Redliro flat walking pad with the 265 lb capacity, 2.25 HP motor and 4 mph top speed; retailer listings carrying that exact spec set identify it as model JK08W. The Amazon listing for this model is ASIN B0D7ZZQTPQ.
A year of daily use
TODAY.com’s reviewer used this exact model daily for a year, for standing meetings and evening sessions, storing it under a bed and rolling it around a small apartment on its end wheels. She averaged about 1,000 extra steps a day and worked up to a 3.0–3.2 mph walking pace from 2.5 mph. Her only mechanical issue was belt drift: the belt moved about half an inch to the right, and running it unloaded at 3 mph for a few minutes re-centered it. TODAY puts the drift down to her gait and an uneven hardwood floor, and it comes back after most walks.
Noise is the other thing owners notice. The pad is louder than expected — fine during video or TV, not during a speaking meeting — and no outlet has published decibel measurements for this model, so treat it as a known characteristic rather than a defect. With no handrail, stepping off can unsettle your balance, and the reviewer’s vertigo flared when she did. If balance is a concern, a handrail-equipped model is the safer choice.
What independent testing exists
No established outlet has lab-tested this exact 265 lb model. Consumer Reports includes a Redliro 2-in-1 in its under-desk treadmill program, but the scores sit behind a paywall. That is not this model’s failure rate, but it is the closest warning the brand has.
Support, returns and running costs
Buy from an authorized retailer: Redliro’s one-year limited warranty covers purchases from Redliro, Walmart, Target and TikTok for residential indoor use, with parts, a replacement unit or a refund at Redliro’s discretion, and quality claims ship back prepaid. Support is service@redliro.com and +1 833 678 2777, listed 10:00 AM–6:00 PM Mon–Fri EST despite “24/7” banners.
Running costs are small. There is no subscription. A bottle of silicone treadmill lubricant ships with the sibling 2-in-1 and is meant to be reapplied about every 30 days; the other extras are a remote battery and an optional floor mat to cut noise and vibration. Redliro does not post a spare-parts list or a manual download for this exact model, so treat belt, motor and control-board availability as unverified.
Is it worth it?
At or below $150 it is a fair buy for walking-only, under-desk use: the specs are honest for the category, a national retailer sells and ships it, and the one-year warranty covers authorized-retailer purchases. Target listed it at $149.99 in January 2026 against a regular $214.27, and TODAY’s reviewer paid $200 for hers on Black Friday 2023; her research at the time put typical pricing around $250–280. Above roughly $250 the value weakens — this model has no incline, no app and no handrail, and better-tested walking pads with longer belts enter range. Above $350 it is hard to defend.
