Summary
A budget corded 5-inch random orbital sander under the DEKOPRO brand with a 2.5A motor, up to 14,000 RPM no-load speed, 6 speed settings and a 16-disc grit kit, but no first-party spec sheet or manual was located online and nothing independent has been measured. Treat the listed specs as a product record, not a verified spec, and confirm the model and return window before you buy.
Strengths
- 6 variable speed settings for matching speed to grit and material.
- 16-piece disc kit spanning 60, 80, 120, 240, 400 and 1000 grit, enough for most sanding jobs.
- 5-inch hook-and-loop pad swaps discs quickly.
- 2.5A corded motor avoids battery runtime limits.
- Detachable dust collection for shop cleanup.
Weaknesses
- No first-party spec sheet or manual was located on the DEKOPRO brand site.
- The listed specs are unverified against any external page, test or owner photo.
- No independent instrumented review exists; a specialist power-tool search returned no matches.
- No owner or Reddit feedback was found to corroborate the build or longevity.
- The web search behind this research was rate-limited, so the paper trail is thin.
- The title says “Dust Box” while the record says “detachable dust bag” — the shipped accessory is unconfirmed.

Research status and sourcing limits
The DEKOPRO tools-brand website (thedekopro.com) participates in Amazon Associates but lists only drill and socket-wrench kits, so the manufacturer documentation trail ends there. Searches were blocked or rate-limited: the websearch tool returned HTTP 429, DuckDuckGo, Mojeek, Google and Ecosia blocked automated fetches, and a specialist tool site search for “DEKPRO” returned “no content matched your criteria”. A separate brand named DekPro (dekpromfg.com) sells deck railings and dominated the search results; that line was excluded as out of scope. Beyond the brand site and those searches, no non-Amazon source could be cited.
Maintenance and warranty
The brand site provides no sander documentation, parts listing or warranty table, so pad wear life, bearing service and warranty handling are not documented for this model.
Is it worth it?
As a budget corded sander it lands at the low end of the market, but with no independent test, no owner feedback and no warranty information, the safest call is to verify the listed specs and the return window at purchase rather than rely on a data sheet. If you need a model with published measurements and a parts trail, look at a sander that independent outlets have actually instrumented.
Which model this is
This page covers the DEKOPRO 5" Random Orbital Sander with Dust Box, ASIN B0D9VTX51B, a corded 5-inch orbital sander. Do not confuse the DEKOPRO tools brand (cordless drills and socket kits) with DekPro (dekpromfg.com), which makes deck railings.
