Summary
A USB-powered monitor light for streamers and remote workers who want softer, more even light on camera without giving up desk space. Check your budget and your glasses before buying: it costs about twice a basic ring light, and reflections still show up on lenses at most angles.
Strengths
- The frameless diffuser gives soft, even light without harsh shadows.
- Reviewers found it easier on the eyes than a cheap ring light over long sessions.
- The monitor clip adds height, swivel and tilt without using any desk space.
- G HUB adds sliders, presets and G-key control on Logitech keyboards and mice.
- Setup is simple: plug into USB and press a button.
- The clip comes off for standard tripod threads, so it travels well.
Weaknesses
- Glasses wearers still catch reflections at most angles unless they hold a specific head position.
- The G HUB camera preview fails when OBS or another program holds the camera.
- The power and adjustment buttons sit on the back, where they are hard to see and reach.
- At around $60 it costs roughly twice a basic ring light, and the light difference may not justify it.
- At full brightness in a dark room the light is harsh enough to hurt your eyes.
- Nobody has published instrumented measurements of output, color accuracy or flicker.

Light quality and eye comfort
Reviewers agree the flat panel behind the frameless diffuser gives flattering, wide light with few shadows. Tom’s Guide used it all day for weeks and found it easier on the eyes than a no-name ring light, which gave the tester a headache within an hour; in darker conditions the Litra Glow lit the face more evenly, though in normal daytime light the two were close. PCMag found the dimmest setting gently fills in a face in a dark room while the brightest is harsh enough to hurt, and confirmed the full range runs from a very cool 6500 K to an overly warm, almost incandescent 2700 K.
Software and controls
The light works on its own from any powered USB port, with a power button and five brightness levels and five color temperatures on the back. Plug it into a Windows 10 or macOS 10.15 computer and G HUB adds sliders, presets and G-key assignments. Two catches: the buttons are on the back of the unit, which faces away from you while you use it, and G HUB’s live webcam preview does not work while OBS or another program is using the camera.
Mount, setup and travel
The included clip fits thin laptop displays up to monitors about 1.5 inches thick, and it telescopes 4 inches vertically with 2 inches of horizontal reach and a 360-degree swivel on top. Reviewers consistently praised the range of adjustment and the fact that the whole setup takes no desk space. Remove the clip and you get standard 1/4-20 threads for a tripod, so it doubles as a travel light.
Repairs, parts and running costs
There is no battery to wear out and no filters to replace, so the only recurring cost is the electricity to run a USB light. Logitech’s spec sheet lists no spare parts for this model, which limits out-of-warranty repair to warranty service, and the one year limited hardware warranty is the only cover. Keep the diffuser clean. At launch in January 2022 the MSRP was $59.99; Logitech’s US store lists it at $59.99, down from $69.99 (Logitech, 2026-10-19).
Is it worth it?
Below $45 it is a strong buy if you trust Logitech’s build and diffusion over a generic panel. At $46 to $60 it is fair value at Logitech’s own $59.99 price: the mount, G HUB integration and eye comfort are what you pay for, while a basic ring light costs about half as much. From $61 to $75 it is weak value, and above $75 it is hard to justify unless you specifically need this light.
