Logitech Litra Glow: problems, parts and running costs
Checked: 2026-10-19
Summary
A USB-powered monitor-mounted LED light for streaming and video calls, with a frameless diffuser and G HUB control. Recurring issues are glasses reflections, a G HUB camera-preview conflict, awkward back-panel buttons and a price about twice that of a basic ring light. There are no consumables, so the only running cost is electricity for a USB light rated at 250 lumens. At $59.99 or below it is fair value; above about $75 it is hard to justify.
Common problems and fixes
- Glasses reflections remain at most angles — glasses wearers still catch reflections regardless of light position unless the face is held at a specific angle; the light can be angled to reduce but not eliminate them. [2][3]
- Back-panel buttons are hard to see and reach — power and adjustment buttons sit on the back of the unit, which faces away from the user during use. [4]
- Costs about twice a basic ring light — at $59.99-69.99 it is roughly double the price of basic ring lights, and buyers may not notice a difference in how they look. [4]
- Full brightness is harsh in a dark room — PCMag found the brightest setting harsh enough to hurt the tester’s eyes. [2]
- No instrumented test data exists — no third-party laboratory has published measured output, CCT accuracy or CRI distribution; Wirecutter and RTINGS have not tested this model. [5][6]
Parts and consumables
No replaceable parts or consumables reported.
Yearly running cost
No subscription or consumable is reported. The only recurring cost is electricity for a USB-powered light rated at up to 250 lumens. Not enough data for a yearly dollar figure. [6]
When it is a good buy
Price anchors: Logitech US direct $59.99, marked down from $69.99 (2026-10-19); launch MSRP $59.99 (Jan 2022) and $60 at CNET (£59, AU$90); Tom’s Guide 2022 street prices of $69.99 at Lenovo, Sweetwater and Newegg and $59.99 at B&H Photo. [1][2][3][4]
At $45 or below it is a strong buy for a monitor-mounted webcam light. At $46-60 it is fair value at Logitech’s own $59.99 price, where the mount, G HUB integration and eye comfort are what you pay for. From $61-75 it is weak value, and above $75 it is hard to justify unless you specifically need this light. [1][4][5]
