Summary

A 34-inch 21:9 curved VA smart monitor (3440x1440, 100 Hz) running webOS 23, with two HDMI 2.0 inputs, built-in speakers and AirPlay 2, Remote Desktop and Screen Share built in. Check the inputs and stand before buying: there is no DisplayPort or USB-C, the stand only tilts, and voice control needs a Magic Remote bought separately.

Strengths

  • 34-inch 21:9 curved VA panel with 3440x1440 resolution and 100 Hz refresh.
  • High 3000:1 contrast and 99% sRGB coverage suit movies and desktop work.
  • webOS 23 adds AirPlay 2, Remote Desktop, Screen Share and a browser without a PC.
  • Two HDMI 2.0 inputs plus LAN and USB-A ports cover common devices.
  • Anti-glare surface, Flicker Safe and Reader Mode ease long sessions.

Weaknesses

  • No DisplayPort or USB-C; PCs or consoles needing them must use the 34SR63QA variant.
  • Stand tilts only (-5° to 15°); height adjustment is a 34SR65QC-series feature.
  • Voice recognition needs a separately purchased Magic Remote; only a standard remote is included.
  • Speaker output wattage is not published, so audio expectations are unclear.
  • No independent instrumented test of the exact model was located.

Connectivity and inputs

Two HDMI 2.0 ports are the only video inputs, so a PC or console that needs USB-C or DisplayPort must use the 34SR63QA sibling instead. Two USB-A downstream ports, a headphone out and LAN round out the rear panel, and there is no USB-C anywhere on this model. The stand is tilt only (-5° to 15°); height adjustment belongs to the 34SR65QC series. Power comes from an external 19 V 3.4 A adapter, with 60 W typical draw and under 0.5 W sleep.

Smart features

webOS 23 is the main reason to buy this over a plain ultrawide: AirPlay 2, Screen Share (Miracast/WiDi), Remote Desktop, Home Hub, the LG ThinQ app, a web browser and USB media playback all run on the monitor itself. HDR10 and HDR Effect are supported, along with Black Stabilizer, Auto Brightness and Smart Energy Saving. Voice recognition works only with the separately sold Magic Remote (MR23GA); the included remote is a standard remote.

Stand, size and power

With the stand the monitor measures 31.8 × 8.7 × 19.0 in (809.1 × 223.3 × 483.3 mm) and weighs 13.4 lb (6.1 kg); without the stand it is 31.8 × 3.5 × 14.5 in (809.1 × 91.4 × 369.4 mm) and 11.2 lb (5.1 kg). VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting is supported if the tilt-only stand is not enough. The panel is a VA LCD in white (W) or black (B), with an 1800R curve and anti-glare surface treatment.

Is it worth it?

At LG’s direct prices the white variant is $329.99 and the black is $299.99, with the black shown out of stock at capture, so value rests on webOS, AirPlay, Remote Desktop and the 34-inch ultrawide form factor rather than on independent performance validation. Evidence quality is the main caveat: no independent instrumented test of the exact model was found, and no owner discussions were retrieved, so reliability and subjective performance claims rest on LG’s own 8-review, 4.62/5 aggregate. Buyers who need height adjustment or USB-C should look at the 34SR65QC or 34SR63QA respectively rather than this model.

Which model this is

This page covers the LG 34SR60QC smart monitor, sold in white (34SR60QC-W) and black (34SR60QC-B), with a 1-year parts and labor warranty and China country of origin. Do not merge it with the sibling 34SR63QA (adds USB-C input and 20 V/9.0 A power) or the 34SR65QC series (height-adjustable stand, 15.4 lb with stand). The Amazon listing for this family is ASIN B0FL88XH8V; which color that ASIN represents is not confirmed.
