- Incredibly low input lag, per RTINGS.
- Excellent gray uniformity, per RTINGS.
- Good peak brightness and decent reflection handling, per RTINGS.
- NVIDIA G-SYNC support eliminates screen tearing, per owner reports.

- Owners report ghosting and inverse ghosting tied to overdrive settings.
- Edge darkening reported on the VA panel.
- No built-in speakers, USB hub, or KVM.

Panel and image quality
LG specifies a flat 31.5-inch VA panel at 2560 × 1440 with 3000:1 typical contrast, 350 cd/m2 typical brightness (280 cd/m2 minimum), 178/178 viewing angles and NTSC 72% (CIE 1931) color. RTINGS tested the FreeSync sibling and found deep uniform blacks, good peak brightness, excellent gray uniformity and decent reflection handling. Color coverage is published only as NTSC 72%; no sRGB or DCI-P3 figure is given and no HDR support is stated in the sources. The cabinet is black with red accents per manua.ls, though LG Canada does not state a cabinet color.
Motion, ghosting and viewing angles
Viewing angles are disappointing. Owner reports on Reddit describe ghosting and inverse ghosting tied to overdrive: advice in one thread is to use “Faster” overdrive for best response time and “Normal” overdrive with G-SYNC below 100 fps to avoid inverse ghosting. One owner reported excellent response with little ghosting using Fast response time, black stabilizer at 50 and blue light reduction off. Another thread is titled “very bad ghosting.” Edge darkening on the VA panel was reported and attributed to VA behavior rather than a defect. G-SYNC support is cited by owners as eliminating screen tearing.
Ergonomics, ports and power
The stand adjusts for tilt, height, swivel and pivot, and VESA mounting is 100 × 100 mm. Ports are one HDMI, one DisplayPort and one headphone out. There are no built-in speakers, USB hub or KVM. Power draw is 55 W typical, 0.5 W in sleep and 0.3 W off, from an external adapter at 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz. manua.ls lists a DisplayPort cable in the box and does not mention an HDMI cable.
Warranty and upkeep
LG publishes a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty including backlight and controller, original purchaser only and non-transferable, valid in the US (including Alaska, Hawaii and US territories) and all Canadian provinces. Service options are on-site repair via an authorized service center, ship-in repair or replacement, or advance replacement with a credit card held for the return unit; freight is paid by LG during the warranty year and the original box should be kept. Replacement units and repair parts may be new or factory remanufactured and are warranted for the remaining portion of the original unit’s warranty. Exclusions include shipping damage, improper installation or insufficient AC supply, misuse, abuse or negligence, cosmetic damage, damage from other system components, modified units, altered or absent serial numbers, units purchased or serviced outside the US and Canada, burned-in images from extended display of one image, and minor imperfections within design specifications that do not materially affect functionality. No dead-pixel tolerance or backlight-bleed threshold is stated. The supplied manual is a 4-page quick setup guide; the extended owner’s manual with advanced features is on the supplied CD-ROM. LG’s support page offers a Part & Accessory lookup, but no replacement-parts list or service manual for this model was found in the sources searched.
Which model this is
This page covers the LG 32GK650G-B, the G-SYNC variant of a flat 31.5-inch QHD VA gaming monitor from circa 2018-2019. The closely related 32GK650F-B is the FreeSync variant of the same panel; RTINGS states the F variant is also available with G-SYNC support instead of FreeSync, known as the 32GK650G-B. RTINGS tested the F variant, not the G variant, because the G variant uses a G-SYNC module, so measured input lag, response time and VRR behavior may differ. LG’s model number is 32GK650G-B, the LG Canada page lists UPC 719192625297 and country of origin China, and manua.ls lists the cabinet color as black with red accents. No revision or hardware-revision differences between production runs were documented in the sources searched. Do not confuse this with the FreeSync 32GK650F-B if G-SYNC is required.
