Levoit claims up to 60 hours on low mist and notes that actual runtime varies with temperature and humidity. RTINGS measured 38 hours and gave the runtime score a 9.3. Coverage is rated at 215-505 ft² (20-47 m²), but RTINGS says the unit is not suitable for open-concept spaces. Auto mode adjusts output to hold 40-50% RH, or a custom target you set.

Cleaning and upkeep

Levoit’s marketing calls the top-fill design hassle-free; RTINGS found the unit “can be a bit of a hassle to clean.” Manufacturer guidance is to clean the tank and base weekly with a white vinegar solution, rinse the tank daily, and replace the water filter sponge periodically. Distilled water cuts white dust and the descaling load. Levoit sells replacement parts, including aroma pads (16-pack) and replacement water filters, on its product page.

Smart features and app

The Wi-Fi module, VeSync app and Alexa/Google voice control are optional extras; the humidifier works standalone.
