Summary
A compact 2019 true wireless earbud that still makes sense as a cheap everyday pair. Check battery wear before you buy, because the batteries are not user-replaceable and any used set is years old.
Strengths
- Comfortable, discreet fit and a pocketable magnetic case.
- Long battery life for its era, with USB-C charging.
- A useful graphic EQ, HearThrough transparency and button remapping in the Jabra Sound+ app.
- Multiple long-term owners report units still working after four to five years.
- Editors’ Choice awards from PCMag and CNET.
Weaknesses
- ANC is mild: the earbuds have no internal ANC microphone.
- Independent tests measured under seven hours on a single charge even when new.
- High Bluetooth latency on PC and Android makes them unsuitable for gaming.
- No aptX, so Android playback is limited to AAC.
- Earbud batteries are not user-replaceable, and a lost earbud means buying a pair.
- The charging case is not water resistant.

ANC and what the label really means
Jabra added active noise cancellation by firmware in October 2020, which was unusual for a 2019 earbud, but the earbuds only have external microphones to work with. Independent testers describe a modest effect; SoundGuys calls it a nice feature you will barely notice toggling on or off. Do not read “Active Noise Cancelling” as AirPods Pro-class cancellation.
Battery and long-term wear
The headline is 7.5 hours in the buds and 28 hours with the case, but that figure is best-case. RTINGS measured just under seven hours on a single charge, SoundGuys measured 7 h 14 min, and Digital Trends measured just under seven hours at full volume. With ANC on, Jabra rates 5.5 hours in the buds.
Battery is the main wear item. Earbud batteries are not user-replaceable, and multi-year owners report fade after roughly three to five years. One r/Jabra owner of a five-year-old set says it no longer reaches three hours of ANC playback. If you are buying used, assume the battery is closer to the end of its life than the start.
Charging and connection faults
The most common complaint is a single earbud that will not charge or register. Jabra’s own support pages and several r/Jabra threads trace it to build-up on the case pins and earbud poles; cleaning the contacts, resetting the case or leaving it plugged in for hours sometimes fixes it, and sometimes does not. A separate thread reports the case blinking red after a failed firmware update, fixed by resetting the case. Nobody has published a failure rate, so treat this as a known annoyance rather than a defect.
Is it worth it?
The value case flipped over time. At its launch price of $179.99 it competed on fit, battery and software; today it is discontinued and old, so only a low price makes sense. Treat it as a buy at a clear budget price and only from a seller with an easy return path. Near its original price, the money is better spent on a current model with real cancellation and a modern codec.
Which model this is
This page covers the standard Elite 75t, not the sporty Elite Active 75t (IP57, rubberized) or the higher-tier Elite 85t. The earbuds are IP55; the case is not. The US listing for the Titanium Black colour carries ASIN B07X9VG6ZJ. A wireless-charging case variant exists but is not the standard package.
