Summary
A 69 g ambidextrous wireless gaming mouse with a BAMF sensor rated to 19,000 CPI and a claimed 71-hour battery. Check whether you need exact CPI accuracy out of the box: TechPowerUp measured a consistently positive deviation at common steps.
Strengths
- Great sensor performance: very low SRAV, 4.0 m/s perfect control speed, stable polling at all four rates wired and wireless.
- Excellent build quality on the reviewed unit: no rattle, creak or flex, and side buttons resist accidental presses.
- Grippy matte coating and thick PTFE feet that glide well, with a flexible 2 m braided charging cable included.
- Rich RGB lighting across three zones and a claimed 71-hour battery with lighting off.
- $79.99 launch price earned TechPowerUp’s Editor’s Choice and Budget awards against $150 rivals.
Weaknesses
- CPI deviation is consistently positive and somewhat significant at common steps; exact-CPI users may need to adjust in software.
- Motion delay ramps over the first ~100 ms before reaching its minimum, so latency is not uniform through a motion.
- Wireless mode adds about 1-1.5 ms of delay and click latency rises to +2.9-3.4 ms.
- The 2 mm lift-off setting appears non-functional; only the 1 mm setting worked in testing.
- Major jitter at 19,000 CPI and minor jitter at 8,000 CPI.

Battery life and charging
Charging takes about 3 hours from empty, though a small top-up can take under 5 minutes. There is no dongle storage compartment in the mouse; the extender doubles as a holder. Software is Glorious CORE, Windows only, with higher resource usage than the old software. Warranty is 2 years limited, extended by 1 year with free registration within 365 days.
Sensor performance and latency
The BAMF sensor is rated to 19,000 CPI with 400 IPS tracking and 50G acceleration, polling at up to 1,000 Hz. TechPowerUp measured CPI deviation consistently positive and somewhat significant at 400, 800, 1,600 and 3,200 CPI, correctable in 10-CPI steps; adjusted test steps were 400, 800, 1,550 and 3,100 CPI. Motion delay ranged 0.5-3.5 ms wired with a ~100 ms ramp to minimum, plus 1-1.5 ms wireless; click latency +1.9 ms wired and +2.9-3.4 ms wireless. Perfect control speed 4.0 m/s with no malfunction, very low SRAV, and no angle snapping despite community claims. Lift-off default 1 mm did not track at 1 DVD height, and the 2 mm setting appeared non-functional. Major jitter at 19,000 CPI, minor at 8,000 CPI.
Build, coating and feet
Weight measured ~69 g ±1 g with excellent balance, marginally heavier than the wired Model O. Build quality solid: no rattle when shaken, no creaking or flexing under lateral pressure, side buttons cannot be triggered by squeezing, no accidental clicks when slamming (with debounce above 0 ms). Matte coating grippy and easy to clean; white-dyed pure PTFE feet with above-average thickness glide well. Six buttons; Omron main switches rated 20M. TechPowerUp describes disassembly as easy, with the battery on the side-button PCB via a 3-pin JST connector, but no official spare-parts catalog was found.
Is it worth it?
At the documented $79.99 launch price, TechPowerUp concluded the Model O Wireless was much better value than $150 Logitech G Pro Wireless and Razer Viper Ultimate, earning Editor’s Choice and Budget. Value rests on 69 g weight, verified sensor performance, 71-hour battery claim, build quality, and the included extender and cable. Caveats that reduce value at higher prices: no owner-durability data found, switch voltage below spec per TechPowerUp, CPI deviation, motion-delay inconsistency, and a 2 mm lift-off setting that appeared non-functional. Retail price and availability of the original Model O Wireless (superseded by Model O 2 and Model O 3) could not be established.
Which model this is
This page covers the GLORIOUS Model O Wireless, the wireless version of the wired Model O; not the smaller Model O-, Model O 2 Wireless, or Model O 3 Wireless, which have different sensors, weights and feature sets. The manufacturer product guide covers Model O and O- Wireless together; the specs here are the Model O (69 g) values, not the O- (65 g) values. Protective blue film on G-Skates mouse feet must be removed before use.
