Summary
A budget high-back executive chair in black PU leather, rated to 300 lb, with adjustable seat height and built-in lumbar support, aimed at light-to-moderate home office use. Before you buy, know the gaps: no independent durability test, no documented warranty and no owner reports.
Strengths
- Rated to 300 lb on a five-star metal base with rolling casters.
- Seat height adjusts from 17.2 to 21.2 in, with built-in lumbar support.
- Furmax has sold this model since at least December 2019.
- Assembly is described as straightforward, typically 20 to 30 minutes.
Weaknesses
- No independent instrumented test of this exact model has been published.
- No warranty terms are documented; Furmax states only a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging.
- No recline range, tilt tension or lock positions are documented, even though reclining is listed as a feature.
- No owner discussion was retrievable, so long-term durability is unverified.
- A claim of 1.5 times the BIFMA standard appears only on a retailer page for a brown variant and is unverified.
- The 300 lb figure is a maximum; the manual warns not to exceed it or stand on the chair.

Which model this is
This page covers the Furmax Office Executive Chair High Back Adjustable Managerial Home Desk Chair in Black, model FDMP0, sold under ASIN B07T291QPJ. Don’t merge it with other Furmax high-back chairs that add a retractable footrest, a 90–135 degree recline or ribbed mid-back designs; those are different models.
Recline and adjustability
The manual lists reclining and an adjustable backrest among the chair’s features, and the Furmax affiliate page says pneumatic controls let you adjust the height and rock back. No recline angle range, tilt tension setting or lock position is documented, though. Don’t assume a specific recline range.
What is documented, and what is not
The manual gives dimensions, a 300 lb maximum and safety warnings, and little else; there is no maintenance schedule and no parts catalog. A third-party retailer page for a brown variant claims the chair is tested to withstand 1.5 times the BIFMA standard with a heavy-duty 4-level gas lift, but that is retailer marketing, not a lab document, and it covers a different color.
Assembly
The manual links to a PDF installation guide and an official assembly video. Assembly is described as straightforward, typically 20 to 30 minutes.
The only retail price found is $73.50 at SHEIN US for the black variant, against a stated original price of $133.70 (SHEIN, October 2026). At that level the chair is a reasonable budget choice for light-to-moderate home office use, with the caveat that long-term durability is unverified. Above roughly $100, the missing test data, warranty and owner evidence make it harder to justify against budget chairs with deeper coverage.
