eufy HomeVac H20: problems, parts and running costs

Checked: 2026-10-28

Summary

The eufy HomeVac H20 is a 1.44 lb cordless car vacuum built for light dust and crumbs, and its limits are documented: large debris clogs the inlet, embedded footwell hair resists even Max mode, and the 90 mL bin needs emptying after every use. The only running cost is filter replacement, about $12.99 a year if two kit changes are priced at the observed two-pack. At $70 or less with the full accessory kit it is a good narrow-space car tool, while above $100 a stronger pet-hair vacuum is the better buy.

Common problems and fixes

Parts and consumables

Yearly running cost

Filters are the only recurring cost. eufy says clean them weekly, twice weekly if heavily soiled or used on pet hair, and replace them every 6 months or after 50 cleaning cycles. Two kit changes a year at the observed $12.99 two-pack would cost $12.99 a year before tax and shipping, if the listing can be obtained; the $16.99 aftermarket six-pack would work out at $5.66 for two changes only if each unit is a complete compatible set. There are no bags, filters beyond this or subscriptions, and electricity use and battery replacement costs have not been quantified. [2] [3] [7] [8]

When it is a good buy

US asking prices seen in October 2026 were scattered: the eufy US buying guide showed a $119.99 reference price without confirmed stock, an eBay third-party listing was $119.00 plus shipping, the Joyus listing was $119.99 and sold out, and the Woot offer was $69.99 and also sold out. At $70 or less with the full accessories the H20 is a good narrow-space car tool; at $70–90 it is defensible only if in-car charging and the compact form matter; above $100 the stronger models below win.
