Summary
A robot vacuum and roller mop with a self-emptying, self-washing station, built for hard-floor homes with pets and low furniture. Check your router before you buy: it connects on 2.4 GHz only.
Strengths
- 40,000 Pa of BLAST suction with 16.45 L/s of airflow.
- The roller is washed at 212°F and dried with 113°F air, hotter than the T90 Pro Omni’s 167°F wash.
- A 95 mm body fits under low furniture, and the roller auto-lifts 15 mm on carpet.
- The station empties into a 2.5 L bag, so you handle dirt far less often.
- Owners of the wider T90 family praise the mopping, low maintenance and obstacle avoidance.
- PowerBoost charging restores 10% in three minutes, inherited from the X11 line.
Weaknesses
- There is no automatic detergent dispenser; you add cleaning solution by hand, one cap per full tank.
- Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only, so dual-band and mesh networks may need band separation during setup.
- Matter, Apple Home and SmartThings support are undocumented for this model.
- ECOVACS US publishes no weight, water-tank or onboard dustbin figures, so measure the space before buying.
- No independent lab test of this exact model exists, and the 40,000 Pa figure is unverified.
- Same-family owners report navigation and mapping problems severe enough to return the robot.

Suction and mopping
ECOVACS rates the MAX Plus at 40,000 Pa of BLAST suction and 16.45 L/s of airflow, figures the company says put it above the T90 Pro Omni’s 30,000 Pa. No independent lab has measured either number, and no RTINGS, Wirecutter, Tom’s Guide, CNET or PCMag test of this exact model exists.
The mop is the stronger story. The 27 cm OZMO ROLLER 3.0 is pressed against the floor at 3,800 Pa and scrubs at 200 RPM while 32 fresh-water jets rinse it; ECOVACS claims about 67% less residual water than ordinary rollers. The station heats the wash water to 212°F and dries the roller, tank and interior with 113°F air, hotter than the T90 Pro Omni’s 167°F wash and 145°F dry. On carpet the roller lifts 15 mm, and TruEdge 3.0 pushes it about 1.5 cm toward baseboards. A mechanical climbing system is rated for 20 mm thresholds, and the 95 mm body slips under low furniture.
Station and running costs
The station empties the robot into a 2.5 L bag and washes the roller with water heated to 212°F. A replacement antibacterial roller mop is $33.99, a side brush $14.99 and a filter $14.99 at ECOVACS US in 2026. Cleaning solution is sold separately and added by hand. ECOVACS also sells a MAX Plus accessories bundle with one roller mop and three dust bags for $597.00. There is no subscription.
The UK manual for the lower T90 MAX OMNI lists a station that dries at 360 W and empties at 150 W, a clean-water tank of about 4 L and an onboard tank of 110 ml, and a battery the manual says is only replaceable by skilled persons. Routine care means replacing the dust bag, cleaning the brushes, bin, mop-washing tray and filter, keeping the charging contacts clean, recharging every 1.5 months in storage, and draining the water and removing the roller mops for long storage. The manual’s troubleshooting table — a mop-washing tray that fails to drain, dirty-water sealing plugs misinstalled, a stuck floating ball, a blocked suction port and an entangled driving wheel — is the clearest available map of the failure modes ECOVACS expects.
What owners report
No Reddit or forum thread specifically about the T90 MAX Plus was found. The owner evidence is same-family, covering the T90 and T90 Pro Omni, and it is split.
Fans praise the mopping — one calls it top tier — and the low maintenance, with one owner saying intervention during cleaning is rare. The AI obstacle avoidance draws praise for dodging cables and pet hair, and the slim body is the one thing even a dissatisfied owner conceded fits under the couch.
Critics are harsher. Several owners call the navigation abysmal and report returning the robot. One says it mops the carpet even in vacuum-only mode, another finds the suction pathetic on bare wood floors, and a third says threshold climbing was non-existent against the 20 mm spec. Another describes the unit as cheap and reports false bumper-stuck errors. A counter-signal exists: one owner reports two to three months of trouble-free use, mostly mopping. With no exact-model threads, treat these as signals, not a defect rate.
Is it worth it?
ECOVACS lists the MAX Plus at $699.99, and the same site’s model picker shows $549.99. An independent spec page recorded $549.99 against the $699.99 list, about 21% off, around the October 2026 sale window, and a YouTube review lists the same $549.99 for early to mid October.
At the $549.99 street price the package suits hard-floor homes with pets and low furniture. At the $699.99 list price it is harder to recommend over the T90 Pro Omni, which adds automatic detergent dosing and a documented Matter path for less money. The Pro was seen at $589.99 in a flash sale, and the base T90 MAX OMNI at $519. Warranty is one year, with a 30-day return window in the US.
Which model this is
This page covers the 2026 T90 MAX PLUS OMNI. The US Amazon variant is ASIN B0HJBX8HTV. Don’t merge it with the rest of the T90 family: the T90 OMNI is the base, the T90 PRO OMNI is a step above it, the T90 MAX OMNI a step up from that, and the T90 MAX PRO OMNI a camera-free 40,000 Pa variant sold through ECOVACS’ German shop. ECOVACS’ naming runs Plus for base, Pro for a step above, Max for a step up from Pro, and Omni for the all-in-one station. The German MAX Pro sibling lists the same robot dimensions and carries a two-year EU warranty, a regional term rather than a US one.
