Full research notes and sources
Power and placement
The unit runs on USB power with no battery, so it must stay plugged in and is not portable. A wall adapter is usually not included, and the manufacturer recommends a suitable USB wall adapter rather than a low-power computer USB port for stable continuous display. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is required for setup, app control, content sync and real-time data.
Warranty and channels
Warranty is 12 months standard. Orders placed on divoom.com on or after 2026-07-29 receive an additional 6 months, for 18 months total, verified via order record with no registration required. Orders before that date, or placed through third parties, keep 12 months under that platform’s terms. Exclusions include products without proof of purchase, lost or stolen units, out-of-warranty units, third-party repairs, misuse such as drops, water, extreme temperatures or improper operation, and unauthorized channels. Divoom’s return window on divoom.com is 30 days.
What we could not verify
No independent instrumented test from established outlets such as RTINGS, Wirecutter, Tom’s Guide, CNET or PCMag was found for this exact model. Only two YouTube review videos were identified, and their full content was not read here. No Reddit or forum owner discussions were located, so claims about brightness, power draw, Wi-Fi reliability, app responsiveness or long-term durability cannot be verified from the sources read.
Is it worth it?
Divoom lists Times Gate at $139.99 with a TFT20 coupon observed on the page, while divoomstore.com lists it at $149.99. Express shipping on divoom.com is $15.99. At those prices it is a niche desk display: five 128 × 128 LCDs, Wi-Fi data widgets and app-driven pixel art, with a 12- to 18-month warranty depending on channel. Value depends on whether you want an always-on information dashboard, and no independent test or owner-reliability data exists to confirm durability.
Which model this is
