Summary
A 1.75 mm, 1 kg high-speed PLA from Creality’s Hyper line, rated for up to 600 mm/s on K1/K1C/K2 Plus and Ender-3 V3 printers. Check two things before you buy: Creality’s own pages call 300 mm/s the typical speed, and owners report quality dropping above roughly 300–360 mm/s.
Strengths
- Smooth printing and good surface finish at moderate to high speeds.
- Neat spool winding with no tangles reported.
- Good layer adhesion and strength for PLA; some owners call it tougher than standard PLA.
- Works well on Creality high-speed printers with the Creality Print slicer.
- 12-month warranty and 14-day return window are unusual for filament.
- Good value at the $19.99 sale price.
Weaknesses
- Owner reports of excessive stringing, especially on Ender-3 V3 KE with Cura at 200 °C and 300 mm/s.
- Quality degrades above roughly 300–360 mm/s, even though the filament is rated to 600 mm/s.
- Corner tearing on calibration prints, reported by a K1 Max owner.
- One owner reports the filament turning brittle after a week in a dry box at 4% humidity.
- No built-in Hyper PLA profile in Creality Print or Cura, so custom profiles are needed.
- Consistency is color-to-color uneven, and loose spool winding has been noted.

Speed, temperature and real-world quality
The 600 mm/s figure is a maximum, not a quality guarantee. Creality’s own printer pages describe 300 mm/s as the typical printing speed, and owners on r/Creality and Creality’s forum report quality falling off above 300–360 mm/s. Filament Swatch ties speed and temperature together: 205 °C is fine at 60 mm/s, but at 250 mm/s and up you want 220–225 °C or the extruder skips and the surface goes matte.
Stringing, profiles and storage
Creality says Hyper PLA’s lower viscosity reduces stringing, but several owners report the opposite, particularly on non-Creality slicer setups; Filament Swatch confirms that the high temperatures needed for speed also string more than cooler PLA, so retraction tuning matters. Creality Print and Cura ship no built-in Hyper PLA profile, so most owners build custom ones. PLA absorbs moisture, and one owner reported the filament going brittle after a week in a CFS dry box at 4% humidity; forum contributors suggest drying at 50–55 °C for 8 hours or more. Whether the brittleness comes from the formulation or from storage practice is still unresolved.
Warranty, returns and the RFID variant
Creality publishes a 12-month warranty on filament in the US (24 months in the EU) and a 14-day return window, which is rare for a consumable. The RFID variant adds automatic material-profile detection, but only on Creality K1C and K2 Plus printers with CFS; the standard Peach Fuzz spool has no chip, so do not expect RFID unless the listing says so. A filament dryer may be needed in humid climates.
Is it worth it?
At $19.99 from the Creality US store the filament is competitive for high-speed PLA; bulk pricing drops to $16.99 for 5 spools, $15.99 for 10 and $14.99 for 20. Above roughly $25 it is weak unless you specifically need Creality RFID integration or a Hyper-only color. The closest value differentiator is not the 600 mm/s number on its own but the combination of Creality printer integration, the 12-month warranty and the low sale price.
Which model this is
This page covers Creality’s Hyper Series PLA in the Peach Fuzz color, a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm high-speed PLA. It is not Hyper PLA-CF, Hyper ABS, Hyper PETG, Hyper Rainbow or standard CR-PLA. A separate RFID variant of Hyper PLA carries an embedded chip for compatible Creality printers; the Peach Fuzz spool is the standard, chip-free version.
