Summary
A 1.75 mm PLA filament sold in 1 kg spools with an embedded RFID chip for automatic recognition by Creality’s CFS, aimed at Creality K2-series printers. Check whether your printer has CFS before paying the RFID premium: without it, the tag does nothing.
Strengths
- RFID chip enables automatic settings and usage tracking on Creality CFS machines.
- Claimed 30-600 mm/s speed range targets high-speed printers.
- Offered in 15 colors, including White.
- Tiered pricing lowers the per-spool cost on multi-spool orders.
- Manufacturer claims neat spooling and smooth feeding.
Weaknesses
- No independent instrumented test of this exact filament was found.
- No owner discussions of this exact filament were found on the Creality Community Forum.
- Whether RFID auto-detection works on non-Creality machines is not documented.
- Print and bed temperatures are not published on the store page.
- The +/-0.03 mm dimensional-accuracy figure could not be verified from non-Amazon sources.
- At the regular store price, the value proposition weakens without independent validation.

Full research notes and sources
RFID and printer compatibility
The RFID tag is meant for Creality’s CFS, which auto-recognizes RFID consumables, optimizes settings and tracks filament usage. The store page titles the product “for K2 Plus” and recommends pairing it with the K2 Plus printer, yet the same page states that it fits most high-speed 3D printers. Whether RFID auto-detection works on machines outside Creality’s CFS ecosystem is not documented. Without CFS, you get a PLA spool and no automation.
Verified performance
No credible independent test of Creality Hyper PLA RFID, in any color, was found on established outlets. Tom’s Hardware’s filament roundup does not include it; the only Tom’s Hardware mention is a deal article about an eBay bundle of non-RFID Hyper PLA. No owner threads were found on the Creality Community Forum. The Creality store shows a rating and review count, but those reviews were not read in full during this research. The manufacturer claims the filament is “stronger than ABS, tougher than traditional PLA”, with no supporting test data on the page.
At the October 2026 check, Creality’s US store listed the 1 kg spool at $21.00, with a regular price of $31.90. On the same store page, tiered pricing runs 5 spools at $17.85 each, 10 spools at $16.80 each, and 20 spools at $15.75 each. Value depends on whether the buyer owns Creality CFS hardware that can read the tag; without it, the RFID feature provides no benefit. At the sale price the filament sits in the mid-range of consumer PLA; at the regular price it is harder to justify, since no independent data supports a premium over non-RFID Hyper PLA or competing high-speed PLA.
Is it worth it?
Worth it if you own a Creality CFS printer and want automated settings at a modest premium over generic PLA. Skip the RFID premium if your printer cannot read the tag, and buy on the sale price rather than the regular one.
