Summary
A 1.75 mm high-speed PLA spool with an RFID tag for Creality’s Filament System, sold in Peach Fuzz among many colors. Check whether your printer actually uses CFS before buying: without compatible hardware the tag does nothing and you are choosing on price and printability alone.
Strengths
- High-speed PLA rated 30-600 mm/s, aimed at fast printers with enough hotend flow.
- RFID spool auto-identifies material, color and parameters inside a Creality CFS.
- Direct-store pricing of $15.75-$17.99 per kg at tiered quantities is competitive among high-speed PLAs.
- Available in a wide color range, including Peach Fuzz.
- Manufacturer TDS (v1.0, 2024-11) publishes full mechanical data for the PLA.
Weaknesses
- RFID gives no benefit without compatible CFS hardware and firmware; otherwise it behaves as ordinary PLA.
- No independent instrumented test of the RFID variant was found; speed and strength claims are manufacturer data.
- Owners report tangles and poor winding deep in some spools.
- Under-extrusion and first-layer problems are reported when switching from stock filament.
- General quality-control inconsistency is reported across Creality filament batches.
- Mechanical claims like tougher than traditional PLA are marketing, not independently verified.

Full research notes and sources
What the RFID tag actually does
The RFID tag is embedded in the spool and lets a compatible Creality CFS read material, color and print parameters automatically. That benefit is ecosystem-specific: it requires compatible CFS hardware and firmware, and printers outside that ecosystem treat the spool as standard 1.75 mm PLA. The tag identifies material and supplies parameters but does not measure filament condition. Whether the tag is rewritable or user-programmable is not documented in the sources read.
Print speed, temperatures and storage
The 600 mm/s figure is a material capability claim; actual throughput depends on hotend flow, line width, layer height, acceleration, cooling and slicer settings. Temperature guidance differs between the TDS (190-230 C nozzle, 25-60 C bed) and retailer listings (210 C or 195-215 C nozzle; 60 C or 55-65 C bed), so confirm settings for your printer. PLA absorbs moisture, which can cause popping, stringing, rough extrusion or bubbles; keep spools sealed with desiccant. No drying temperature or time is specified in the sources read.
Independent testing
No credible instrumented professional test of Creality Hyper PLA RFID was found from RTINGS, Wirecutter, Tom’s Guide, CNET or PCMag, and the Tom’s Hardware best-filaments list does not include Creality Hyper PLA. Print In 3D printed non-RFID Creality Hyper PLA (blue) at 500 mm/s with a 0.25 mm layer height in 19 minutes and reported minor stringing and top-surface adhesion issues with otherwise very good quality; that test is not the RFID variant or the Peach Fuzz color. SpoolScout reproduces the manufacturer TDS and is not an independent test. No independent tensile, impact, melt-flow or dimensional-accuracy verification of the RFID variant was found.
Owner-reported problems
Owners report tangles and poorly wound spools deep inside some Hyper PLA spools, under-extrusion and first-layer problems when switching from stock filament that often require temperature or flow changes, and general quality-control inconsistency across Creality filament batches. High-speed capability requires a printer and hotend that can use it, and many jobs run below the headline speed. A Hyper PLA-CF owner reports poor compatibility with Bambu AMS even with a spool adapter and inconsistent winding, but that is a different variant and should not be assumed for Hyper PLA RFID.
Pricing and value
Creality US store lists $21.00 (compare-at $31.90) for a single spool, with tiered pricing of $17.85 each when buying five, $16.80 each for ten and $15.75 each for twenty. filament.baby lists $17.99 and 3DJake lists $25.17 excluding VAT plus shipping. At $15.75-$17.99 per kg direct, the spool is competitively priced against other high-speed PLA for CFS owners who can use RFID and higher flow. For printers without CFS, the RFID premium has little value and a lower-cost PLA may deliver the same part quality at moderate speeds. At 3DJake’s $25.17 plus international shipping, the spool is less competitive for US buyers. Ownership costs are general PLA costs (electricity, desiccant or dryer) plus CFS hardware if automatic recognition is desired; no proprietary consumables are required.
Which model this is
This page covers the Peach Fuzz color of Creality’s Hyper PLA RFID spool: 1 kg, 1.75 mm, SKU 3301010462, EAN 6977905740161. It is one color variant of the Hyper PLA RFID line and should not be confused with non-RFID Hyper PLA, Hyper PLA+ or Hyper PLA-CF.
