Size and flatness

The manufacturer’s illustration gives 300 × 300 × 3 mm, while the title says 12 × 12 × 1/8 in, a rounded conversion. A Canadian owner said the actual sheets were a little smaller than 12 in. Creality describes the sheets as warp-resistant, and that owner saw flat boards, but another vendor’s guidance warns that some basswood plywood can warp in transport or weather. No flatness tolerance or defect rate for this exact pack was found. Leave margins in designs and inspect boards on arrival.

Recognition and settings

That is a convenience on supported A1 setups, not a property of the wood itself, and ordinary plywood works with manually configured parameters. Manufacturer starting settings are 100% power at 350 mm/min in one pass on the A1 10 W for 3 mm linden, and 100% at 500 mm/min in one pass on the A1 Pro 20 W for 3 mm basswood board. Run a material test with the actual machine, air assist and extraction.

Safety and fumes

Plywood and MDF adhesives can be sources of formaldehyde-containing fumes, and wood sheets are combustible. The sources did not measure fumes from this Creality pack, so the resin identity and concentration are unknown. Use an appropriate enclosure with exhausted cutting, stay present during cutting and avoid unvented indoor lasering. Creality’s general material guidance also applies to masking and test cuts to reduce surface darkening.
