Cleaning performance and pressure

The manufacturer cites a study reporting 66.8% plaque removal and 90.4% improvement in gingival bleeding, with zero adverse events. No independent replication or instrumented test of the exact model was found in major review roundups. A generic review of an unspecified COSLUS flosser reports effective cleaning, strong pressure, and usefulness for braces or tight teeth, alongside loud, drippy, budget-feeling operation and messiness when the stream is not angled correctly. Treat the clinical figures as manufacturer claims until independent data appears.

Battery and charging

The C50 carries an 800 mAh battery rated for up to 21 days of use and a full charge in approximately 2.2 hours over 5 V. No adapter is included, so you need a standard 5 V adapter on hand. Real-world runtime under heavy daily use is not documented for this model.

Listing details to check

The product page lists the tank as 270 mL in the specifications but as 300 mL in the FAQ and “300mL Tank” in the title. Box contents list 4 tips, while the title and metadata say 5 tips. The ADA Seal applies to the C20/E40/C50/C51 family rather than to every variant individually. Color options are Black, Lake Blue and Light Pink; whether color variants differ in hardware revision is not stated.

Is it worth it?

At the manufacturer’s listed $36.99, the stated specifications (30-140 PSI, four modes, ADA acceptance, 270 mL tank, 21-day battery) are competitive for a cordless flosser. Value becomes uncertain if the purchase price is materially higher or if long-term reliability is a priority, since no failure-rate data or independent performance test exists for the exact model.

Which model this is

This page covers the COSLUS C50 Comfort-Control Cordless Water Flosser, sold under the name “ADA Accepted C50.” It is not the COSLUS CX50, a separate model listed by Target as “MDL Accepted” with 4 modes and 5 intensities, and it is not the C20, C30, C31, E40, C51 or T40. The Amazon variant identifier for this model is ASIN B0FDQ3WHRW.
