COSLUS C50: problems, parts and running costs

Checked: 2026-10-22

Summary

Running cost is not established, because replacement-tip availability and price are not documented and no charging adapter is included. At COSLUS’s listed $36.99 the stated specifications (30-140 PSI, four modes, ADA acceptance, 270 mL tank, up to 21 days of battery) are competitive, but value weakens above that price or when long-term reliability matters. [1][3][4][5][6][7]

Common problems and fixes

Listing inconsistencies — the product page lists the tank as 270 mL in the specifications but 300 mL in the FAQ and title, and 4 tips in the box contents but 5 tips in the title and metadata. Verify which variant you receive. [1]
No charging adapter included — the box contains no adapter; any standard 5 V adapter is required, so buyers without one must supply it. [1]
No reliability data for the exact C50 — no failure-rate data or independent test exists for this model, so expected lifespan and common failures are unknown. [4][5][6][7]

Parts and consumables

5 V charging adapter — not included; any standard 5 V adapter works, per the manufacturer FAQ. [1]

Yearly running cost

Not enough data. No replacement-tip price or replacement interval is documented, no filter, pod or subscription is listed, and no electricity draw is published, so a yearly figure cannot be computed. [1]

When it is a good buy

$36.99 direct (checked 2026-10-22) — COSLUS’s listed price, where the stated specifications (30-140 PSI, four modes, ADA acceptance, 270 mL tank, up to 21 days of battery) are competitive against the absence of independent test data. [1]
Above that, or if reliability matters — value is uncertain, since no failure-rate data or independent performance test exists for the exact model. [3][4][5][6][7]
COSLUS CX50 — a different COSLUS model (Target listing, “MDL Accepted”, 4 modes and 5 intensities); not interchangeable with the C50 on the published data. [8]

No other store price was verified, and no named alternative with comparable data is documented. [1][8]
