Summary
A magnetic wireless power bank for iPhone 12–15 that snaps onto the back of the phone and holds 10,000mAh, about double a typical 5,000mAh magnetic puck. Check two things before buying: wireless charging runs at 7.5W, and no USB-C cable is included, so plan on your own.
Strengths
- Holds 10,000mAh (37Wh), about double a typical 5,000mAh magnetic pack.
- Pass-through charging tops up the pack while it charges the phone.
- The 10N magnet array clears the iPhone camera instead of blocking it.
- 20W USB-C PD wired output is quick for a budget pack.
- Pocketable at 204 g and airline-eligible at 37Wh.
Weaknesses
- 7.5W wireless is half of certified 15W MagSafe speed, so phone top-ups are slow.
- No cable is included; wired charging and recharging both need your own USB-C cable.
- Baseus’s own blog says older 7.5W models often struggle with heat dissipation and stable delivery.
- Baseus support describes charging that starts then stops with thick cases or heat.
- No instrumented professional test of this exact model was found.

What it is
The Baseus Magnetic Portable Charger 20W 10000mAh is a MagSafe-compatible magnetic power bank built around a 10,000mAh (37Wh) lithium-polymer cell. It attaches with a circular 10N magnet array and a PU charging surface, in a body measuring about 4.1 × 2.7 × 0.78 inches and weighing 204g. ChargerLAB’s teardown shows a sealed construction with an SW6201 control chip and an XB4908 protection chip, and no user-serviceable parts.
Baseus claims about 1.8 charges for an iPhone 14; that figure is a manufacturer estimate and has not been independently verified for this model. Macworld’s strong recharge score belongs to the sibling 30W built-in-cable model, not this one.
Speed, cables and heat
Wireless charging tops out at 7.5W, half of a certified 15W MagSafe charger, and the pack has no built-in cable: wired charging and recharging both need the user’s own USB-C cable. ChargerLAB measured a full self-recharge in about 2h50m at 18W input, while Baseus’s page claims 1.3 hours; the faster figure may assume a higher input.
Heat is the recurring caution. Baseus’s own blog says older 7.5W models often struggle with heat dissipation and stable delivery, and its support material describes charging that starts for a second then stops, fails with thick cases or wallet cards, and pauses when devices get warm. One owner in r/MagSafe reported a Baseus MagSafe pack that stopped charging wirelessly while still powering devices over cable; a separate r/batteries post describes a Baseus 10,000mAh pack that blew up overnight, though the model is unconfirmed. These are caution signals, not a failure rate.
Baseus’s US store listed the charger at $22.99 (October 2026), down from a $45.99 regular price, and showed it sold out at the check. Below about $25 it is a reasonable buy for a MagSafe iPhone owner who wants capacity and can live with 7.5W wireless; near the $45.99 regular price the case is weaker, since certified 15W Qi2 magnetic packs exist at similar money. There are no running costs beyond the unit, and no documented battery-replacement path, so plan to replace it at end of life.
Which model this is
This page covers the Baseus Magnetic Portable Charger 20W 10000mAh, SKU P10059001113-00. Don’t confuse it with the 30W built-in-cable version, the PicoGo AM61 25W or the PicoGo Air AM71; those are different models.
