Summary
A budget MagSafe-style magnetic power bank with 10,000mAh, 7.5W wireless and 20W wired over a single USB-C port, for iPhone 12 through 15. Check the model number on the magnetic side before you buy, because the 2024 Baseus recall covers two other 6,000mAh models and explicitly excludes this one.
Strengths
- 10,000mAh in a 19.8mm-thick body, well above the 5,000mAh packs common in this category.
- Snaps on with a 10N magnet array and clears the iPhone 12/13/14 camera module.
- 20W wired PD and 18W input over one USB-C port, with pass-through charging.
- Can charge two devices at once, splitting 10W wired and 5W wireless.
- Rounded PU surface that Baseus says leaves no scratches on the phone.
Weaknesses
- Wireless tops out at 7.5W; it is not MagSafe-certified, and Qi2 packs now offer 15W.
- Only one USB-C port, so two-device charging splits output and drops the wired share to 10W.
- 10,000mAh is cell capacity; rated output is 5,800mAh at 5V with ≥75% conversion.
- No independent performance test of this exact unit exists; the teardown names parts but publishes no measured output, efficiency or heat figures.
- Recharge time is inconsistent across Baseus pages: 3 hours, under 2 hours and 2 hours 50 minutes.
- Generic owner feedback says magnetic power banks charge slower and run hotter than wired, and add bulk.

Wireless speed and charging
The wireless ceiling is 7.5W for iPhone 12 through 15. Baseus’s own copy elsewhere in the family reserves 15W for Qi2 models, so treat the “MagSafe” name here as magnetic-alignment compatible rather than MagSafe-certified. Over the single USB-C port it delivers 20W PD and takes 18W in, and it can pass through charge, filling the pack and a phone at once. Use it for two devices and the output splits to 10W wired plus 5W wireless. ChargerLAB measured 2 hours 50 minutes to recharge, while Baseus’s current page says 3 hours in one place and under 2 hours with a 20W PD charger in another.
What the 10,000mAh figure means
10,000mAh is cell capacity. Baseus’s spec sheet rates output at 5,800mAh at 5V and states energy conversion of ≥75%, so the charge you actually get is well below 10,000mAh. Baseus claims 1.8 charges for an iPhone 13 or 14 Pro, 1.3 for a 13 or 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 to 50% in 30 minutes wired. The unit does not show battery level in iOS; a sibling review notes the iPhone treats it as a standard wireless charger, so level is only readable on the pack’s own lights.
Safety recall and model number
In June 2024 the CPSC recalled about 132,000 Baseus magnetic power banks after 39 fires, 13 burn injuries and about $20,000 in property damage. The recall covers only models PPCXM06 and PPCXW06, both 6,000mAh 20W units, and Baseus states PPCXM06A is not part of the recall and no other models are affected. This 10,000mAh pack is not recalled, but check the model number printed on the magnetic side before you buy.
Repairs, parts and warranty
There is no published parts catalog for this model. The teardown identifies a 5,000mAh 3.85V cell, an Ismartware SW6201 master-control chip and an Xysemi XB4908 battery-protection chip, but the cell is a pouch polymer pack and the casing is glued, so a battery swap is not a practical owner repair. Warranty terms differ by listing: baseus.io and baseusonline.com show 1 year, while Baseus’s current US marketing advertises 24 months on some models. Treat this model as 1 year unless the listing says otherwise.
Is it worth it?
At $39.95 on baseus.io (2026-10) it is fair value for the capacity. Below $30 it is a reasonable budget pick, accepting 7.5W wireless and no independent test data; from $31 to $40 it is fair; above $41 it is weak, because Qi2 15W magnetic packs are within reach and the larger Baseus 20W model is listed at $49.99. Ownership cost is limited to the charger itself and a USB-C cable or adapter, since no AC adapter ships in the box.
Which model this is
This page covers the Baseus 20W magnetic wireless power bank with 10,000mAh, manual model PPCX010005, measuring 104.6 × 68.9 × 19.8 mm and weighing 204 g. The Amazon listing is ASIN B0CN9B2SJK. Don’t merge it with the larger 2021 PPCX010201 (5.67 × 2.88 × 0.67 in), the 30W built-in-cable model, the kickstand Bracket model, or the two recalled 6,000mAh models.
