Summary

A slim 20,000mAh (74Wh) laptop power bank with a real but short-lived 100W peak and two USB-C plus two USB-A ports. Check the port sharing before you buy: the two USB-C ports share one 100W budget, and a second device can drop the other port to as low as 10W.

Strengths

  • Genuinely slim at 18 mm thick and about 506 g, so it slides into a laptop bag.
  • Instrumented testing measured a real 99.9W peak on the main USB-C port.
  • The digital display shows remaining percentage, per-port voltage and amperage, and time remaining.
  • It recharges fast from a 65W charger, measured at about 1h23–1h30.
  • 74Wh is under the airline carry-on limit.
  • Delivered energy is solid for the class, about 63Wh at 65W and 66Wh at 15W.

Weaknesses

  • The 100W output is a burst, not a cruise: thermal protection cut it after about nine minutes in testing.
  • One 2022 hands-on test never saw 100W, peaking at 92W.
  • The two USB-C ports share one budget, so a second device can drop the other to as low as 10W.
  • The display shows only one device at a time and cannot be switched off while something is plugged in.
  • No wall charger is included, so budget for a 65W-or-higher PD charger.
  • The 20,000mAh is cell-level at 3.7V; delivered energy measured about 85% at 65W.

How real is the 100W output?

The headline 100W is real but short-lived. Instrumented testing measured 99.9W at 20V/5A on the main USB-C port, then thermal protection cut output after about nine minutes of continuous full-power draw, with surface temperatures around 58–59°C. A 2022 hands-on test never saw 100W at all, peaking at 92W with a Surface Laptop Studio and settling near 60–75W. Sustained charging realistically sits near 65W, which still charges a 16-inch MacBook Pro by roughly a third in half an hour.

Port sharing and the display

The display is legible and useful but shows only one connected device at a time, offers no combined-wattage readout, cannot be turned off while charging, and its glossy face scratches easily. There is no wireless charging, and no wall charger is in the box.

Repairs, parts and running costs

No safety issue or recall is tied to this model, and the thermal protection cuts power rather than overheating. The unit is sealed, so do not expect user-serviceable internals. The only running cost is a 65W-or-higher USB-C PD charger if you do not own one. Warranty runs 24 months in US and EU Baseus channels, though a UAE retailer lists one year, so terms vary by region.

Is it worth it?

At $50–70 it is strong value for a laptop traveler: a genuine 100W peak, 63–66Wh delivered, a slim slab format and a 24-month warranty. The launch price was $99.99 in March 2022, which was fair at the time, and the US Baseus store listed it at $69.99 against a $129.99 regular price in 2026. Above about $130 the value weakens against newer Baseus variants and rival 100W packs.
