Baseus Blade 100W 20000mAh: problems, parts and running costs

Checked: 2026-10-16

Summary

A flat, laptop-sleeve-friendly 20,000mAh power bank whose real-world weakness is the headline number: independent testing saw about 60W to a single laptop, never the full 100W, and output is shared across the four ports. There are no consumables and no user-replaceable parts; the only running cost is a wall charger, which is not in the box. Around $50–70 it is a fair buy for the thin profile; at its $129.99 regular price it makes little sense.

Yearly running cost

No recurring cost: no consumables, subscriptions or parts to replace by design. The only practical extra is a USB-C wall charger if you do not already own one, since none is included. [2][5]

When it is a good buy

Baseus US lists the Blade at $69.99 sale / $129.99 regular, shown sold out during the October 2026 check; it launched at $99.99 in March 2022, ZDNET cited a UK price of £64 in 2022, and PCWorld flagged $49 as a new low in June 2026. Around $50–70 it is a fair buy for the thin profile and real 60–100W USB-C output; at $129.99 it makes little sense next to newer, denser, higher-capacity banks. Alternatives: the Baseus Blade HD (silicon-carbon, 445g, smaller and lighter) is the better choice if you want the same flat shape from the current model line, and a 24,000mAh/140W-class bank is the better choice if you need more total energy or higher output.
