Summary
A 16.1-inch FHD IPS portable monitor for laptop users who want a large second screen on a budget, with 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits and a 60Hz panel in a 780 g chassis. Check your USB-C port before you buy: single-cable video needs DisplayPort Alt Mode, and there is no battery, so the screen always needs external power.
Strengths
- A 16.1-inch FHD IPS screen gives a roomy second display for documents and spreadsheets.
- 100% sRGB coverage is uncommon at this price point.
- Light at 780 g (1.7 lb) for a panel this size.
- Mini HDMI and full-function USB-C cover most modern laptops.
- Good value for a large portable second display.
- No internal battery means one less part to wear out.
Weaknesses
- No battery: it must be plugged into USB-C or a power adapter at all times.
- 60Hz refresh rate rules it out for serious gaming.
- Single-cable video needs a full-function USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode; a USB-C to USB-A cable is power only.
- Mini HDMI carries video only and still needs separate power.
- Flicker or restarts can appear if the power supply is too weak.
- No instrumented test of this exact 60Hz model exists; the nearest lab data is from the 144Hz variant.

Full research notes and sources
Which model this is
This is the ARZOPA Z1C, a 16.1-inch FHD 60Hz portable monitor sold as the ASIN B0CH9WLFTP. It is not the Z1FC, which is the same size at 144Hz, and not the Z3FC, a 2.5K 180Hz model. Specs here are for the Z1C only.
Power and ports
There is no internal battery, so plan on a cable or a USB-C power source every time you use it. A full-function USB-C port carries video and power over one cable; if your laptop’s USB-C port does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode, you fall back to Mini HDMI for video plus USB-C for power. Mini HDMI cannot deliver power itself, and a Nintendo Switch needs its own original adapter to run the monitor. If the screen flickers or restarts when you change brightness, the supply is likely too weak.
Panel and test data
Nobody has published an instrumented test of this exact 60Hz model. The closest lab data comes from ServeTheHome’s review of the Z1FC, the 144Hz version of the same 16.1-inch panel: it measured 98% sRGB coverage, a 2.12 average Delta E, and power draw from 3.5 W at 0% brightness to 9.0 W at 100%. Treat those figures as an indication only, since the Z1C is a different panel and the manufacturer claims 100% sRGB, so real coverage may land slightly below the label.
Is it worth it?
At $100 or less the Z1C is a reasonable buy for office and study use, because a 16.1-inch 100% sRGB panel at this price point is uncommon. Between $100 and $120 it is fair value, and above $120 you are paying for an ageing 60Hz panel when 144Hz portable screens exist at similar prices. The ARZOPA US store lists the Classic 16.1-inch office model at $99.99, down from $159.99, and the ARZOPA global store lists the Z1C at $113.29.
