Summary

A three-port GaN wall charger (model A2669) rated at 67W shared across two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, with a foldable plug and a 24-month warranty. Check the model number before buying: two same-named 65W siblings with different port allocation and no PPS are sold under the 735 name.

Strengths

  • Compact folding-plug GaN body that replaces a stack of single-device bricks.
  • PowerIQ 4.0 splits power dynamically, so three devices can charge at once.
  • Runs about 5 C cooler than the older 735 Nano II under a two-hour laptop compile.
  • Both USB-C ports support PD 3.0 and PPS, so Samsung and Pixel phones fast-charge.
  • A 24-month warranty and an official refurbished channel back the purchase.

Weaknesses

  • The 67W total is shared, so a 16-inch MacBook Pro under load will not fast-charge.
  • An owner reports dynamic allocation only works between the two USB-C ports and turns off once a USB-A cable is plugged in.
  • A cable left in the second port with no device attached can stop the first port reaching 65W.
  • Same-name 65W siblings (models A2667 and A2668) look identical in listings but use different port allocation and no PPS.
  • A brief power-handshake dropout can trigger a “Slow Charger” warning when a second device is attached.

Charging performance and the shared wattage

A 2026 bench test confirmed the spec sheet more tightly: 65.8W on one USB-C port (about 98% of the label), 63.7W on two USB-C ports and 62.1W on all three, with PPS working and a 56.8 C shell temperature under the three-port load. A MacBook Air M2 charged at 43.8W and a MacBook Pro 14 at 65.8W, a normal charge rather than the 96W fast charge. The 67W figure is a shared envelope, not per-port output.

Power allocation caveats

The flat “65W two-port” line hides some behaviour. An exact-model owner reports that Anker’s dynamic power distribution only works between the two USB-C ports and is disabled altogether once a USB-A cable is plugged in, and that a cable sitting in a second port with no device attached can stop the first port delivering 65W. A Framework Community test found the power handshake when a second device is attached is faster than on the older 735 Nano II and about 5 C cooler under a heavy compile, but brief dropouts and “Slow Charger” warnings still appear. Anker’s own troubleshooting says to leave the charger unplugged with nothing connected for 5 minutes to reset it, then try a different cable, outlet and device. Anker’s documented 0-25 C ambient range is narrower than most chargers in this class.

Which model this is

This page covers the Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 67W), model A2669, also sold as the Anker Prime 67W GaN Wall Charger (3 Ports). It is not the older Anker 735 Charger (Nano II 65W), model A2667, and not the Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W), model A2668; both are 65W units with different port allocation, and the A2668 does not list PPS. Micro Center’s US stock carries manufacturer part A2674J11-1.

The US Amazon listing carries ASIN B0D2R5YY4N.

Is it worth it?

Macworld reviewed it at $49.99 in September 2023, and Anker’s own store sells a two-pack at $99.98 (about $50/unit) with a refurbished single unit at $49.99. The Verge noted a $35 Black Friday price in 2025. At $40 or less the verified output, PPS support and 24-month warranty make it an easy buy; at $41-55 it is fair; above $55, 100W-class chargers and the 16-inch MacBook Pro’s power needs argue against it. No instrumented efficiency or ripple test of the A2669 exists, and there is no long-term failure data.
