Setup and compatibility

Angetube lists the 862Pro for Windows XP/SP2/7/8/10/11, macOS 10.6, Linux 2.6.24, Chrome OS 29.0.1547.70, Xbox One and Ubuntu, with a 2.4GHz Intel Core2 Duo or better, 2GB RAM or more and a USB 2.0 port; USB 3.0 is required only for its 4K products. The product page also states low-light correction. The optional Angetube video software is a free download, with an activation code obtained by emailing the machine code to support; a third-party driver aggregator lists Windows installer 40.70.0 (145 MB) and macOS 2.0 (38.3 MB).

Microphone and lighting

The microphone is specified at 35dB+ sensitivity and 65dB SNR, in a 2-channel stereo noise-reduction pair with 3m pickup. The ring light is a 3-color stepless unit that rotates, dims infinitely and is touch-controlled. The product page does not state whether the light can be fully turned off; the 967Pro page documents on/off and brightness adjustment, but that answer is not repeated for the 862Pro.

Privacy and ownership terms

Warranty runs one year from purchase for the original purchaser only, is non-transferable and excludes normal wear, improper use, abuse, modification and unauthorized-reseller purchases; claims go to Support@angetube.com with an order number and photos or video if requested. Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt if the product is unused and undamaged, with a refund to the original payment method within 3 business days after approval; the customer pays return shipping unless the error was the manufacturer’s. Free shipping on all orders is stated on the product and policy pages. Angetube lists the 862Pro at USD $55.99 (Angetube, 2026).

Which model this is

This page covers the Angetube 862Pro, sold as “Angetube 1080P 60fps Webcam with Ring Light and Privacy Cover.” Do not confuse it with the Angetube 967Pro, which has a three-level ring light, 5x digital zoom and no stated privacy shutter. The Amazon listing for this webcam is ASIN B09QKR8P6T. A third-party driver aggregator lists the model as “862 Pro” with a 2022 year and a USB Type C interface, which conflicts with the manufacturer’s USB 2.0 statement; treat the aggregator’s interface claim as unverified.
